Michael Steele Would Rather The GOP Not Get Their Hopes Up Or Whatever About 2010

by Juli Weiner

So! The human race’s Michael Steele, for one, does not think the GOP will win control of the House in the 2010 elections. Steele, whose job it is to ensure that the GOP wins control of the House in the 2010 elections, told Fox News thing Sean Hannity “not this year” in response to this exact question. Reports the Hill: “Pressed on his prediction, Steele later said, ‘I don’t know yet.’” Umm… a man got to have a code (?). There are not enough seasons of the Wire to fully mock Michael Steele. To quote State Senator Clay Davis: sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

This is America after eight years of your party’s rule, Mike. The gods will not save you.

Even Rusty Steele knows that running on a platform of Tax Cuts for the Eelights, Pro Rape, Pro Health Insurance Rackets, Gutting of Gubbiment and DOWN WITH UPPITY NIGRAS FROM KENYA isn’t exactly a winning one.

Avon, to Stringer Steele: “I bleed red and you bleed green. I look at you these days, String, you know what I see? I see a man without a country. Not hard enough for this right here and maybe, just maybe, not smart enough for them out there.”

Is it me, or does that dog (the one on the left) look very concerned about something?

[re=489014]queeraselvis v 2.0[/re]: Hey, we’re talking about Michael Steele here, not Lexington Steele.

Cape Clod January 5, 2010 at 10:37 am

I’m sure he only made that statement to curry favor with Dale Robertson, who holds all people of color in high esteem.

Michael “the faucet” Steele as GOP chairman 4-eva, I say.

It is a measure of how clueless the rump of the GOP is that they will burn his ass (maybe in effigy, maybe not) over this, which may have been the least insane thing Steele has said in a long time.

There are not enough seasons of The Wire, period.

Previous heads of the GOP were seen but not heard. Or is that heard, but not seen? In any case, Steele is a massive success because everyone knows him – any PR is good PR, baby
