  • In case you didn’t get the memo, on Twitter: Thomas Friedman is still a dumb asshole. [Matt Yglesias]
  • Sean Hannity is a “strong voice,” a Castrato, actually. [RedState]
  • Howard Dean, who quit The Politics forever so he could spend more time staring at perky lady-breasts, would definitely vote against the health care bill if he was still doing The Politics, because that’s what a real PROGRESSIVE would do. [Think Progress]
  • AMERICAblog eats a bag of bullshit, shards a very stinky hypothetical question. [AMERICAblog]
  • The numbers speak for themselves. Give it up for President Rudy Giuliani! [Weekly Standard]

But how could someone with such a nice mustache be a giant asshole?

Besides, little Tommy has changed; he’s no longer screaming that we have to bomb more Muslims, he just wants us to encourage some Muslims to kill the others we don’t like. And that worked out so well for Central & South America during the Cold War.

binarian December 17, 2009 at 5:38 pm

One of the RedState drones has stated Sean Hannity will run for office as a Conservative Party somewhere. New York maybe? We are truly a nation of stupid.

re: AmericaBlog’s tasteless, bizarro question “What would Teddy (Kennedy) do if he were alive today?”

That’s easy: he’d be clawing at the lid of his coffin trying to get out.

Cue outraged Denby response in three…two…one…

You gotta figure Friedman’s always going to be in favor of more dead muslins, no matter what the mechanism.

SayItWithWookies December 17, 2009 at 5:57 pm

[re=481067]Judas Peckerwood[/re]: That’s horribly tasteless and offensive — which is why I thank you for writing it before I got around to doing so.

Hannity as Castrato: You’re doing it too late preserve that lovely high soprano, but still a worthwhile operation.

SayItWithWookies December 17, 2009 at 6:34 pm

In a December 15 Quinnipiac poll, moreover, Giuliani tops Gillibrand by 10 points. Rudy’s favorable rating is at 59 percent in the Quinnipiac poll.

Since Giuliani isn’t holding office right now, doesn’t that mean that 59% of the people approve of him continuing to do that? I mean, he’s been magnificent at staying on the sidelines, offering his gratuitous, pithy and completely impractical answers to complicated problems. I think he should keep doing that for life.

Scandalabra December 17, 2009 at 6:40 pm

Those bitter queens at Americablog have become so insufferable, I de-bookmarked their whiny, sanctimonious asses.

Any web site with the words ‘American,’ ‘Patriot,’ or ‘Constitution(al)’ should be avoided. Like the fish symbol of Christianity outside of a businessplace, if you have to advertise it you don’t got it.

I_KILL_ZOMBIES_ALSO December 17, 2009 at 7:35 pm

I’m just irritated that this post forced me to click on America Blog, and before any of you nut blobs even starts, yes, it physically picked up a gun and held it to my head until after I had clicked the afore mentioned link.

King of Pants December 17, 2009 at 8:17 pm

I thought I was the only one who hated AMERICAblog! It is literally the worst thing ever written by humans. (RedState at least has a sliver of mockery to it.)

Wow. Riley is cranky today.

And what’s the deal with Weakly Standard not having a comments section? Airline peanuts?

Tom Friedman, the Peter Principle* proved.

[re=481061]binarian[/re]:
Where in New York State? Certainly not to the libtard regions.
Otherwise, that would require Hannity to move from white wine-sipping Santa Barbara to NYS, pass an English comprehension exam, and get a Green Card so that could he rub his manly-man, sweaty shoulders and his moist areas with the loggers in the Adirondacks .
Far too much worky work for that to happen.
Easier for Sean to remain in CA, where he can continue to troll the bars of San Diego.
Just speculating.

You know, I’m not sure what Ted Kennedy would be doing right now, but what I do know is that it’d certainly wouldn’t be what Reagan would be doing, which would consist of the former president holding high court in a Southern California McDonalds believing himself to be in an honest-to-goodness cabinet meeting. That, or shitting and pissing himself crazy. Oh, too soon?

Oh, and regardless of what some of you might say, Dean finally came to his senses instead of continuing to be a shameless party flack.

Dolmance December 18, 2009 at 7:48 am

The Republicans are coming back. In 2010 young people are going to stay home and watch TV and beat off. Black people are going to do the same thing only instead of beating off they’ll screw. Mexicans aren’t going to give a shit, they’re just going to screw (well, maybe watch a telenovella afterward).

The only silver lining is that a return of the Idiocracy is probably what the American people deserve. Because their cities are more boring than in Austria. Because they’re trying to make it so if you knock up some imbecilic chick who looks hot now, but is going to look like Andrea Dworkin when she’s 25, you won’t be able to take care of it at the doctor’s. Because the cops act like assholes. Because everybody’s in prison. Because you can’t drink in your car, even if you’re not drunk. And because they don’t arrest all the Teabaggers and send them to reeducation camps in Alaska to plant rye seed in the permafrost with their fingers until they’re all dead. Oh, and just for a million reasons.

The Republicans are coming back. They’re coming back because you suck. You really, really suck.

Jim89048 December 18, 2009 at 10:39 am

[re=481269]Dolmance[/re]: So you’re saying there will be a lot of fucking and sucking, then.

Dolmance December 18, 2009 at 12:01 pm

[re=481380]Jim89048[/re]: Lots of fucking and sucking. And lots of babies crying because they know they’re going to prison when they grow up. Then they forget until it happens.

Bring it on Rudy! PLEASE! I want him to run for something. I want to see pix of him in drag and next to jailbird Bernie. I want to hear his radio tirade against ferret owners. And most of all I want the real NY fire department to come out against him for the stupid decisions he made and didn’t that cost them their lives. My hope is that he runs for gov against Bill who I know could use a job. I want to see him knocked to the ground and buried once and for all.
