RNC Decides To ‘Use’ These Teabaggers, For Electoral Victories

by Jim Newell

Oh golly a new RNC web ad. Who cares? Well, it is part of Michael Steele’s new post-Scuzzlebutt RNC strategy so kidnap all the teabaggers and make them Honest Republican canvassing slaves: “At a press conference yesterday, RNC Chair Michael Steele announced plans to tell all of America how hard his party is working to prevent the Democrats from passing health care reform… But, the other audience Steele addressed was a little closer to home. Tea partiers, Steele said, it’s time to come back to the Republican Party.” Tea partiers, however, remain terrified of this African ACORN person telling them to do things. Isn’t one Obama enough? The GOP: The Party of Teabagging.
Tell us something new…

bitchincamaro December 15, 2009 at 12:33 pm

Used teabags are kinda’ like used rubbers, no? Spent and useless. Unless you’re the RNC.

gurukalehuru December 15, 2009 at 12:34 pm

From what they say there, it actually sounds like they are arguing in favor of single payer.

WarAndG December 15, 2009 at 12:34 pm

HEY Obummer stop gutting the socialism my fox news watching VA and Medicare recipient grandpa likes! (See how I did that with his name-”Obummer.” LOL! Sounds kinda like Obama but its “bummer” like you know…something bad is happening which is socialism like Hitler liked.) Republicans will fix health care by just saying no to health care and that is better for America. Go GOP. The end.

I think it’s so funny how the Repugs are stuck with Michael Steele. They thought he would get black people to become Republicans. Now, since that’s not working, he is trying to appeal to bigots. But he’s black. Good luck with that RNC.

Fuck me. Nobody, and I mean nobody, projects their own failures and bad governance better than the Gee Oh Pee. Except maybe for the Bag O’ Teas.

chascates December 15, 2009 at 12:39 pm

The GOP is a big enough tent to hold all of the crazies.

memzilla December 15, 2009 at 12:40 pm

Just in time for Christmas, SkoalRebel picks up a nice consulting check from the GOP.

Decker December 15, 2009 at 12:41 pm

Teabaggers want to know who “you people” refers to, baby.

memzilla December 15, 2009 at 12:42 pm

[re=478590]chascates[/re]: Attention, Ringling Bros.: One of your tents is missing.

You should be able to find it though, by following the trail of ‘Thuglican assclowns.

El Pinche December 15, 2009 at 12:43 pm

Is there a non-jackass Michael Steele?

SayItWithWookies December 15, 2009 at 12:44 pm

The British have learned that health care reform has attempted to buy 200 tons of yellowcake uranium from Nigeria.

AggieDemocrat December 15, 2009 at 12:57 pm

If they come canvassing in my neighbourhood, knocking on my door, by their own admission I have the right to shoot them in the face, no?

comicbookguy December 15, 2009 at 12:59 pm

[re=478600]SayItWithWookies[/re]: We know where health care reform is, it’s in Tikrit, in the north, and east, the western area there.

comicbookguy December 15, 2009 at 1:00 pm

[re=478625]AggieDemocrat[/re]: Don’t do that. They don’t have health care to cover getting shot in the face and will have to go on Fox Noise begging for money.

comicbookguy December 15, 2009 at 1:01 pm

[re=478625]AggieDemocrat[/re]: I want to apologize to you, Dick Cheney, and your family, for putting my face in front of your shotgun. My bad. Sorry.

charlesdegoal December 15, 2009 at 1:02 pm

“Prevent health care reform”. Americans never cease to amaze the rest of the world. Go get sick.

Mustang December 15, 2009 at 1:04 pm

[re=478586]Mustang[/re]: Actually, now that I think about it, the teabag partiers don’t know their asses from holes in the ground, so they probably also don’t know who Michael Steele is. Never mind.

finallyhappy December 15, 2009 at 1:16 pm

So I’m guessing Mikey is oblivious to the fact that teabaggers are bigots and that pretty much they are not going to listen to a black man. I’m looking forward to the struggles in the 2010 elections between the semi-sane GOPers with the totally wacko GOPers.

Larry McAwful December 15, 2009 at 1:17 pm

They claim they’re all for tea parties, but these clods don’t seem like they’d even know what tea tastes like. They seem more like the Monster Energy Drink crowd.

Still, I defy Michael Steele to prove his party’s relevence to getting anything worthwhile done at all. I’ll even drink a Monster Energy Drink if he can do it.

Gopherit December 15, 2009 at 1:26 pm

“Americans don’t want this.” But a bunch of Muslim Kenyan worshippers do. I think they’re called “The Majority” but fuck them! They ain’t Merikan.

AggieDemocrat December 15, 2009 at 1:35 pm

[re=478693]Gopherit[/re]: Well, when you have the maths skills of Fox News and its average viewers, I guess the definition of “majority” is a moving target.

new complexnegro December 15, 2009 at 1:56 pm

Given all the sex scandls surrounding repubs, teabaggers sounds like such an appropriate name.

Cicada December 15, 2009 at 2:13 pm

[re=478693]Gopherit[/re]: Silly you. You know people like us aren’t Real Americans(TM). We just live here and pay taxes.

Berkeley Bear December 15, 2009 at 2:47 pm

[re=478669]Larry McAwful[/re]: I’m guessing they are the sweet tea crowd – that horrible bastardization of the brew that really is just mainlining sugar with your caffeine. Since I just saw sweet tea infused vodka at the store for the first time, I’m guessing some small slice of corporate America is cashing in on their new found inner anger.

AnSnarkist December 15, 2009 at 5:02 pm

Glenn Beck ignores the voices of millions of Americans in his head.

LowerdPeninsula December 16, 2009 at 1:09 am

What font are they using in the video? It’s getting so damned annoying.

BlueStateLiberal March 22, 2010 at 1:11 pm

Poor teabaggers caught between two black men. The irony never ends.
