I actually saw an article on this yesterday that said someone had carved into the green, “a symbol which appeared to resemble a swastika.” Because, hey, let’s not rush to judgement.

Nothing strange about this - New England can be as racist as the deep south. In the Irish suburb of Boston I partly grew up in, there was racist graffiti on the basketball courts that the town didn’t remove for years.
Golf courses and graveyards should all be turned into public parks.
