Even Ahmadinejad Is Probably Bored Of Ahmadinejad At This Point

- Democrats and Republicans continue to compete over who can cater more to Big Senior re: possible Medicare cuts. [AP]
- Obama spent all day yesterday begging the U.N. to agree to a resolution that would get Iran and North Korea and others like them in such big trouble if they crossed their fingers behind their backs while signing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. [Wall Street Journal]
- You really have to give the Taliban credit for taking advantage of their semester abroad in Pakistan, huh! They are now heading into to Afghanistan stronger, savvier and fightier than ever. [New York Times]
- Ahmadinejad is apparently not yet bored of his old tricks, namely, calling Israel and the U.S. racist, accusing everyone he’s ever met of genocide, and throwing in some noncommittal “Iran is pretty great, actually!”s for good measure. [New York Times]
- India will be doing a bit of role-playing this week, as it does its part to pretend to care about doing something that will curb carbon emissions. Going clockwise, soo… China: you’re next. [Washington Post]
- American women, GETTING HYSTERICAL and whining about affording to feed and educate their children, might not be into having so many anymore! [Reuters]

The fundamentals are still delighted to overpopulate the planet. Like the ultraorthodox Jews in Israel American evangelicals want to make sure their offspring are in the majority.
Breed ‘em and feed ‘em.
Repukes are so cute when they pretend to care about helping the olds.

So the people who don’t work want more from the government who they hate because they give money to people who don’t work. Other than a price hike at the Bob Evans, our elders are only terrified of two things.
Somebody else is going to get that they got.
They can’t get as much for nothing as they used to.
Which leaves me to wonder, at what point do our senior citizens collapse into floating black holes of greed and self interest? They’ve burned up all their usable fuel and are currently existing on discount Viagra and the free ensure handed out by the Department of Aging. Doesn’t physics dictate that they implode at this point into a “greed singularity”? Once personal avarice is sharpened to such a razors edge doesn’t it puncture the fabric of time/space, thus sparing them the requirement to share the light that touches their wrinkled bodies with the rest of us? Or are they just too greedy to share even that meager blessing with us ?
Oh death panel, where is thy sting? Also.
The Republicans’ new-found love for Medicare is amusing, considering that they’ve been openly trying to “slash” Medicare ever since it came into existence.
[re=418203]chascates[/re]:
As we’ve seen, they don’t do a very good job of anything except stealing or fucking people/animals/things they’re not supposed to. Jeebus might love’em, but Darwin gave them the middle finger by handing them no talent, stupids and major delusion.
BTW, do you want to be among the last humans standing when the climate turns to shit? Not I.
Anyone considering parenthood needs to take ther best parent friend to a bar, get them drunk, and ask them how they truly feel about parenthood.
Perhaps Ahmadinejad should give a lecture to investors in Hong Kong?
Oh good. According to the AP article, women want fewer children, but are skimping on birth control to save money. This will end well.
I have an idea for Obama.Make birth control pills OTC! They will be cheap and easy then, and the abortion rate won’t go higher. Sheesh.
Idiotic that the pill, which has been on the market for decades isn’t already OTC. God, I hate so called “conservatives”. They should just be called “fuckovereveryoneelseatives”.
“Our nation is prepared to warmly shake all those hands which are honestly extended to us,” Mr. Ahmadinejad said.
I’ll bet he uses his ass wiping hand.
[re=418216]ph7[/re]: It was that meeting in the bar that led the parent to go home and write the international best selling children’s book, “Daddy Drinks Because You Cry.”
persia deserves so much better than dinner jacket and his coterie of rug rats. maybe they should try one of those election thingies. oh, that’s right…
better luck next time.
(now i see neda dying again, and my heart is broke, and her death is still in vain.)
[re=418221]Darkness[/re]: Women will have more “headaches” when they know they are ovulating. This will lead to sexual frustration for both men and women. Sale of icecream and use of porn will increase. Is it better for the $ to go to dairies and pornographers or to pharmaceutical companies? Tough call.
According to Wikipedia, Ahmadinejad is “the fourth of seven children of an ironworker, grocer, barber and blacksmith”. Go figure.
[re=418216]ph7[/re]: My parents don’t drink. What I do know: I’m 44 & mom is still afeared that my birthmother, who I found myself, will come take me away, even though I haven’t lived with mom & pop for well over 20 years, and I’m married. 1960s adoptions are strange beasts.
[re=418223]widget09[/re]: But Amahdinnerjacket said Iran just had “glorious democratic elections.” Surely this nice man wouldn’t lie.
[re=418221]Darkness[/re]: Birth control OTC? Ha. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a ‘grass roots’ movement by conservatards to outlaw the sale of condoms.
As a Good Liberal, I am sure that I speak for all of us Wonketteers when I say that, the sooner we get out of Afghanistan, and allow the Taliban to get back to oppressing Afghan women — denying them education, barring them from meaningful employment, stoning them in the street for wearing western clothing — the better!
Because, as Good Liberals, we recognize the fundamental truth that, having helped create the situation (from the Carter Administration forward), we as Americans are under no obligation whatsoever to clean it up.
And so, Women of Afghanistan, we say to you what we said to the people of Cambodia in the 1970s: “Fuck YOU, We’re LEAVING!”
[re=418203]chascates[/re]: You mean the ultraorthos want to be sure they are the majority of Jews in the US- just not enough of us Jews to be the majority of anything else. Except running the world but that goes without saying
[re=418231]magic titty[/re]: There has been- at least as it refers to kids below the age of 18. Because abstinence is what they should use and we know how well that works, don’t we, Princess Sarah.
[re=418235]finallyhappy[/re]: Actually I read on the Ha’aretz site that in 20 years the ultras would be the majority in Israel due to having 8-9 kids per family whereas now they are a minority. But in that event who would be left to be in the IDF?
[re=418234]Neilist[/re]: Afghanistan is probably salvageable, but probably not at a price the American people are willing to pay. Giap and Uncle Ho may have been the ones to figure out the “make it too expensive for them “ strategy but word has gotten round.
[re=418240]chascates[/re]: Israel- probably so and then there can be a Palestinian state. Most Ultras do not accept the validity of the state of Israel since it was not established by the Messiah.
[re=418221]Darkness[/re]: All we have to do is show them tapes of Mackenzie Phillips doing the talk show circuit and say, “see? this is how they will turn out!” bang, there goes that old ticking clock….
[re=418234]Neilist[/re]: Heh. And here I just always thought that you loved the Afghanistan thing so much because it involved playing with guns.
Gaddafi truly brought the crazy at the UNGA yesterday, stealing Ahmadinejad’s thunder. He was probably crying in the men’s room before his speech — “What am I supposed to say now? Moammar’s such a meany!!!!”
[re=418213]4tehlulz[/re]: That is precisely what they have done with the United Nations. After decades of not supporting it, complaining about it, doing everything possible to make sure it can not function such as doing their best to cut off funding (John Bolton as UN Ambassador? Do we need any more examples?) then they say “Well, the UN sucks…It just doesn’t work!”
[re=418216]ph7[/re]: Going to a bar and getting drunk is probably how most of them got to be parents in the first place.
I will say this: People who never become parents may well have happy, productive lives. They simply will never know what they have missed out on.
[re=418372]Lascauxcaveman[/re]: I’m an advocate of killing people to achieve some purpose. Not simply for the fun of it.
Afghanistan is hopeless.
Anyway, it’s passed “guns.” You’re talking about carpet bombing and/or significant tube artillery. It’s easier to bounce the dead babies that way.
[re=418234]Neilist[/re]: You really are such a passive-aggressive prig. ugghh…
[re=419102]LowerdPeninsula[/re]: More “aggressive-aggressive prig,” I think.
