Just not a nice ladyWhat a way to cap off this frighteningly violent, evil hellscape of a week! Here we have Sarah Palin — on Facebook, to be sure — taking her nastiest remarks from the past, stacking them, lighting the stack on fire, and throwing it square between the eyes of America’s Future, WOW: “The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s ‘death panel’ so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their ‘level of productivity in society,’ whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.” This is the most sublime Trig joke ever written. [TPM]

Maybe Sarah will get a license to do it herself, by putting Trig in a wolf-costume…

  • ManchuCandidate

Of course Palin’s against the whole idea. If it’s based on mere productivity and usefulness, the whole Palin clan would be wiped of existence. How can one be productive when they quit all the time?

  • chascates

    SWEET BABY JEEBUS!!

    The article concludes with:

Could this be an early trial balloon for a Palin/Bachmann ticket in 2012?

  • user-of-owls

One more reinforcement of my post-hoc fantasy about the turkey blend-o-matic interview, wherein the cameramen slowly repeats to her, “Back and to the left. Back and to the left.”

  • problemwithcaring

You just KNOW that the people posting in support on her Facebook link have such shitty, shitty healthcare. You know, cause they live in America.

I take great pleasure in that.

  • KBuster

It was then that Trig Palin, under review by the unfeeling robotic optical elements of the Android Healthcare Death Squad Panel, found Sarah Palin’s car keys, which she had dropped moments before being carried off to her undignified death at the hands of Lord Obamatron 7.

Those familiar words brought him comfort in his moment of greatest fear, and he reflexively uttered them under his breath: “Oh my gosh!”

“There is no Gosh in this world. There is only Obama,” rang the voice of Obamatron 7, who was hypocritcally smoking cigarettes while making sure nobody else smoked around buildings.

  • Lord Growing

“And Zeke Emanuel will drink Trig Palin’s blood.” It was all in the Democratic platform a whole year ago. Why is everyone acting all surprised?

  • slappypaddy

She obviously hasn’t heard of Blue Cross Blue Shield, the masters of deciding the questions placed before the “death panel.” They’re not interested in letting any gummint bureaucrats horn in on their business. Isn’t that what this fight’s all about? Doesn’t Babble Spass have something she needs to be running away from? I don’t recall having seen her run away from anything yet this week, but I could have missed it.

  • naveed

    Euthanasia for the stoopidz?

  • Joshua Norton

Palin should talk more with her twat. Only 20% of what comes out of there is retarded.

  • BlueStateLibtard

Well if it comes down to that, and if only productive, working people will be able to get health care, we could ditch a whole bunch of red states and save tons of money! It’ll kill the corn-syrup industry, but it’ll be so worth it.

  • King of the Dipshits

[re=381367]ManchuCandidate[/re]: Perhaps in her case abortions should be permitted into the 180th trimester.

Old people and retarded children should be harvested for their sweet, sweet nutrients. I suggest we hunt them all down with helicopters and small planes and shoot them as they try to flee.

Well obviously. In Obama’s America, you would have been euthanized by the Death Panel DECADES ago, long before li’l Triggsy was even born.

  • doloras

I live in a country with socialised healthcare and there are no “death panels”. Everyone gets health care until the day they die, although sometimes it’s shitty health care. Why is this insane idea even being discussed? Why are Democrats not noisily debunking it?

  • Scandalabra

  • lionboy

Back in olden radio times, Orson Welles dramatized an alien invasion and a bunch of listeners went ape-shit crazy and ran around screaming that the world was ending. This is pretty much like that. Mass hysteria over some fictitious (killing Baby Trig and Grandma) and alien (Kenyan) threat has driven hordes of people over the edge.

    It’s Thunderdome Baby!!!!

  • queeraselvis v 2.0

Sorry, but Snowbitch’s utter idiocy demands another homage to John Hughes:

“Stupid, worthless, no good goddamn freeloading son of a bitch. Retarded, big-mouthed, know-it-all, asshole, jerk.”

And that’s just directed at Todd, for marrying that Ice Queen. For her, the more succinct “Shut up, bitch. Go fix me a turkey pot pie” works quite nicely.

  • facehead

Deep in his undersea ice castle of pain, Obama spits out the bones of his latest infant victim and addresses his eternal man-servant, Joe Biden.

“Joseph, you have amused me. Now wipe off the blackface, we have matters to attend to.”

    “Yes master.”

“The battle of MaGog and TriGog has begun. The ice mother knowns our plans.”

    “Yes master.”

“Inform the death panel: Tonight, we fight. Bring napkins.”

    “Yes master.”

    To Be Continued…

I don’t want to be impolite. But. Since Sarah brought up the topic of Trig herself does that mean it’s reasonable for those Alaskan bloggers to keep wondering who is Trig’s real mother? Because they’ve got photos and timelines and all that Oliver Stone kind of stuff still going on.

  • house of the blue lights

This is no longer worthy of satire. This kind of remark is the sheerest abuse of celebrity. It is a frightening example of the deliberate demonizing and misrepresentation of a public debate and an honorable public figure. It’s “palling around with terrorists” taken to a level that is characterising a public official as a premeditated murderer in a literal sense, and some idiot out there is going to see it as an invitation to subject our Pr3sid3nt to the d3ath p3nalty, which last I heard was still legal in this backward country. Wish I could join the LOLWINGNUTs, I really do, but this is just too awful. She ought to be arrested for inciting to violence.

What have we got to lose?

She’s just aching for a postage stamp with a picture of her and her baby with Down Syndrome on it.
Make sure it’s a cheap stamp, though. People who have children with Down Syndrome and no book contract, high speaking fees, or their own PACs usually can’t afford much of anything. Particularly if they don’t have any insurance.

[re=381385]doloras[/re]: You are obviously not familiar with our Democratic Party, which is chock full of invertebrates. Though to be fair, they can’t debunk it for this reason: none of the nuts who believe it will listen. Remember, these are the people who are at this moment attending town halls with their congressional representatives in order to shout down any mention of any idea that contradicts whatever they have been told by Limbaugh, Beck, et al. If you deny it you are part of the conspiracy and so on.

Some of the best documented cases of blood libel focus upon accusations against Jews, but many other groups have been accused throughout history, including Christians, Cathars, Carthaginians, Knights Templar, witches, Wiccans, Christian heretics, Romani people, Mormons, neopagans, Native Americans, Africans, atheists and communists.”

Since my college days in the 60s (late 60s, if you please) I’ve been arguing with my leftist friends whether being a Democrat did any good because one party wasn’t different than the other. I was beginning to think they were right.

I realized this week my leftist friends were wrong. As Democrats, we may think there’s nothing we can really change, but given the hysteria the hate radio and corporate lobbyists have fanned through their fake pubic interest groups, the corporate cocksuckers who own this world sure as hell must think we’re getting close to some serious change.

“The problem with CHCs and public health nursing is that both programs are under-funded. Community Health Centers are federally funded, and most states provide supplemental financial assistance because CHCs are viewed as an important part of the overall health care system in those states. Partly due to the provision of health care services to the under-insured and uninsured, CHCs consistently face budgetary challenges. In Alaska, CHCs receive virtually no funding from the state.”

There is a schism going on here. The country is being torn in half courtesy of Bush/Cheney they touched upon the crazy nerve. Palin gives the crazy nerve life like Frankenstein. Rick Perry was just the beginning. Soon, this will be a Quebec vs Canada split. This will be an intellect vs. out of control limbic system split fueled by alcoholism, racism, confederate flagitis, NASCAR, soccor moms threatening people with guns like the lovely sweet diana above, the south will rise again mentality (circa 1865), wife beating, child beating etc. Watch the news, the majority of these incidents go on in red states. The shock of my life is that Obama won North Carlina. McCain/Palin even scared the crap out of these swamp people. And look what happened when the South split from the US in 1860? Nobody is stopping you.” By now Clarance was about to have a stroke. “I ain’t leaving this country. I’ll be staying here burying you fucking liberals. It’s my country and not some NATO fucks.” I told Clarance they only thing he is going to accomplish is to receive congenital visits from some big old bubba in a federal prison. And that bubba might not be white.” I added that if you want to go around threatening fellow American’s lives, then he can expect some kinky sex for many years to come. The range officer overheard what was going on and he came over and told Clarance to shut the fuck up and if he couldn’t shut up to leave. Clarance couldn’t shut up, so he left. Rick, the range officer apologized to me and said, “we have enough trouble with the anti-gun lobby now, we don’t need any more heat. I told Rick now to worry since I am so used to hearing this crap day in and day out. The bottom line is that the wingnut are more help to the anti-gun lobby than the gun owners themselves. We have a hobby, or even a lifestyle in some cases, that are in jeopardy because of these insane outbursts. I thought the final solution to dissent was supposed to be the voting booth. Americans came to that solution hundreds of years ago. The entire GOP is also in jeopardy as well. They lost, so the election is null & void. As long as they keep a feeding tube open to the crazies, their number will fall, the crazier they will become and the vicious circle continues. The real kicker. Clarance doesn’t vote, never has.

Unfortunately, Sarah is not even the biological mother of Trig.

This makes her statement and her constant use of Trig as a political prop even sicker.

Ya know, I fear it’s too late, but I really wish the Republicans would start getting tough….

Of course, by Republicans I mean Andrew Johnson, and by getting tough I mean Post-Civil War reconstruction

  • BerkeleyFarm

Of course Sarah seems to be conveniently not mentioning that Lil Trigger is already covered by free, government-paid health care and it hasn’t happened.

I swear, the more I see of her actions, the more I see the divorce rumor as a “makin’ stuff up” plant to 1) divert attention from her flakiness and lack of ethics and 2) keep herself in the news cycle on her own terms. With the side benefit of 3) unleashing a swift-boat style attack on those darn Alaska bloggers that keep pointin’ stuff out.

So Sarah Palin is basically a less successful Michelle Bachmann.

    That is so sad/hilarious.

BINGO! My hypothesis: $he doesn’t want the conversation to be about how she tried to bribe a third party to get Kim Chatham to drop her lawsuit.

[re=381717]BerkeleyFarm[/re]: Trigger already has government health care?

    Holy shit! somebody save him!!

http://chriscorrigan.com/parkinglot/?p=2238 Just a link from a canadian who wants the truth out about the canadian health insurance plans instead of the lies and misrepresentations put out by the insurance companies and the GOP in the US.I think this is why she quit in the first place as a private person she can get away with this garbage when as Governor people would question her motives legally and she would have to answer now she can spout her hate that she has from day one.

[re=381687]bullship[/re]: Yup, and I told this to the NRA rep who called me to play a recorded diatribe by Wayne LaPierre. She hung up on me. When any of my buddies at the range (I shoot USPSA) starts talking about what a good show Glenn Beck had the other day I just keep my mouth shut. If they start on about socialism or health care killing Grandma, I basically say “Yep, you’re probably right,” and keep cleaning my pistol.

Hey now, folks, come on, give Sarahcuda a break – it’s not like she has a fucking clue concerning reality … she’s simply going with her tried-&-tested “Child-As-Human-Shield” gambit, as taught to her by that OTHER great Republican Working Mom, Saddam Hussein. She really knows how to pick her role-models, you betcha!

After all, who among us hasn’t discovered the handy way a kid’s soft body can absorb a potential headshot from a tire-iron? Not to mention how the attacker’s sudden shock & horror at just having clubbed a child leaves them wide open for a suckerpunch, also!

Palin qualifies for healthcare that most Americans don’t qualify for and Trig is covered. So her story is bull. There are a couple of related posts at http://iamsoannoyed.com/?page_id=588

  • zhubajie

Trig is probably going to be working for minimum wage all of his adult life, which means (under the present health system), he won’t get sh*t. When he gets sick, he’ll have to wait till he recovers or dies, or go to a faith healer, then wait to recover or die.

    Stupid, selfish, woman!

By making Trig the poster child for healthcare reform Palin surrenders her right to have the kids taken out of the debate. I also wonder if she will be accepting all those evil government benefits Trig will be due for the next 80 years of his life.

  • inaemala

Seriously! Mez. Palin needs to be taught the difference between killing people and just helping them with their end-of-life issues. In her kid’s case, if SHE had had proper health care there would be no ‘Trig’ for her to be whining about.
