BIN LADEN CAME OVER FOR FINGER SANDWICHES

Obama Is Acting Unacceptably Cagey About White House Visitors’ Records

And don't even ASK who he's on the phone withPresident Obama, the consummate host and entertainer, loves to have guests at his fancy DC mansion. But who are these guests, and why do they visit? Are they there for, like, orgies, or to lobby him on “clean coal” technology? A LADY NEVER TELLS.

The good-government watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is suing the government to get the White House visitors’ log released. If this sounds like familiar news, it’s because CREW was always after the Bush Administration to release its White House visitors’ log. Which of course they never did, and then candidate Barack Obama took them to task for being so nontransparent. And he was elected because he promised to run the most honest and open government in the history of the planet!

But now he doesn’t want anyone to know about his late-night gabfests with Bootsy Collins and Osama so he is hedging, dickishly. Let’s hope CREW wins this one.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Told ya’ll we shoulda gone with Hilz. Hopey’s version of “change” looks awfully familiar. From bailouts to Gitmo, the guy has been a consistent disappointment. I wouldn’t be shocked if took a vacation this summer to clear the brush from his dirt farm.

pdiddycornchips: Not like Hillary would have been better, plus she’s not as sexy. But what’s with the Republican talking point that Obama “ran from the center and governs from the left”? Obama ran as a centrist and governs as a centrist, and slogans don’t mean anything. I would say that Obama actually ran more to the left, only because he promised to pass the employee free choice act and has since apparently forgotten about it.

Snap! Hopey still has a following I see. Okay, you’re right. Whateves. The fact that he promises one thing and does the opposite shouldn’t be a concern to any of us because, well because Hillary is a Clinton which means she sits at the right hand of the devil. Gays rights? Not now. Wiretapping? Full steam ahead. Gitmo? Not so fast? Unions? Duck the issue and blame congress. Transparency? No thanks. Ignore his speeches and his policies are thisclose to Dubya’s. We are a nation of sheep. BAAAA!!! BAAA!!!! BAAA!!!. Defend if you must but as time goes on and this list gets longer. Eventually even sheep have the capacity to learn.

pdiddycornchips: Christ on a bike, why don’t you understand things? It’s not that Obama doesn’t do things people here don’t like it’s that Hillz wasn’t a better option and we have no reason to believe that she would have been better. If you want to say Hopey is pissing me off because of ____, fine. If you want to say that Hillary is a goddess that would have been a raging leftist gay-loving, then we will make fun of you because you are delusional.

Also, -1 for not using the term sheeple. For shame.

If I recall correctly (which I might not, as I’ve spent five months smoking the free marijuana the hippie Muslin started handing out the day of his inauguration) the issue of the WH logs under Bush was that Cheney had put together his energy task force in secret and wouldn’t tell anyone who was on it. The logs would have indicated if the task force had been made up of all energy company execs or if Cheney would have invited in an environmentalist or two that all the Bushies could devour like a school of pirahnas attacking a water buffalo. I can’t think of a task force Biden is putting together of similar import. Maybe the task force of Not Messing With Joe?

  38. pdiddycornchips says at 4:32 pm, June 16th, 2009

    Internally valid:

Okay, remove the Hillary reference. Hopey has still lost the plot on a range of issues. I’m just sayin’, the guy has a tendency to say whatever the audience in front of him wants to hear.
If the audience changes, his position changes. Remember when he was going to filibuster the FISA bill? When he voted for it, he said once in office he would “fix it”. He’s in office now and he’s had a sudden change of heart. From small issues to large issues, he says whatever the audience in front of him wants to hear. AIG bonuses, Detainee photos, bailouts, cardcheck, on every one of these issues, he caved when he encountered opposition. Given this record, what do you expect will happen with healthcare reform? Deficit reduction? Fixing the regulatory mess on Wall Street? On every one of these issues, he’ll be dealing forces that are entrenched and diametrically opposed to long term fixes that will benefit the country. I’m just sayin’ that unless he suddenly finds a set of balls, he’ll be led rather that lead himself. I guess it won’t matter because as long as he’s not Hillary or GWB, he’s a success.

Salinger.

What is really ironic is that the PUMAs last year were all saying “Barry’s a rampaging left-winger who can’t be elected, not a moderate, sensible, Iraq-invading centrist like Hillz”. So now this PUMA troll is coming here and saying precisely the opposite and hoping we have short memories.

  41. problemwithcaring says at 7:22 pm, June 16th, 2009

pdiddycornchips: AIG bonuses, Detainee photos, bailouts, cardcheck, on every one of these issues, he caved when he encountered opposition.

I am sold. What some equivocators (aka Flip Flopper) sees as “nuanced reconfiguring of policy, based on the changing facts on the ground” you see rightly see as “caving to opposition.”

Gays rights? He solved all of America’s race problems, why hasn’t he transformed American sexual norms yet? Wiretapping? Other president’s have ignored court orders, what’s stopping N00bama? Gitmo? If he REALLY wanted to shut it down, he could have already - what else is he doing with all those extra bedrooms in the fucking White House. Unions??! You sheeple are too blind to see the appointment of a labor secretary who sat on the board of ARAW, for what it really is - a smoke-screen. A real pro-labor/pro-cardcheck president would be fomenting a revolution in Congress by now. Transparency? Well…I don’t know what he is hiding. And that’s the problem.

    doloras:

How ironic that Hopey’s legion of zombies forgive so easily. It doesn’t bother you in the least that he says whatever the audience in front of him whats to hear? Tell me this, do you honestly expect real heathcare reform? Do you really think printing dollars and putting the fed fund rate at zero will fix the economy? As long as Hopey doesn’t grow breasts and marry Bill Clinton, he’s a success? That ain’t rational. It’s cultish and creepy. Barry’s fans aren’t yet ready to see who he really is. Let’s revisit this discussion next summer. I’m betting the cult will be considerably smaller.

there’s something to be said for what you’re saying there .. but at the same time … the audience is us, the American people. I’ve always kinda felt like he would rather position himself as the ultimate man of the people. In that regard … I would much rather that be the case, than the puppet for Cheney & Rove in their Pinky & The Brain quest for _______
