- The Guardian Council, a group of Islamic law experts and clerics, will supervise a partial recount of the Iranian election. This is not exactly the full and impartial recount that a lot of people had probably been hoping for. [MSNBC]

Interesting and somewhat depressing article, from an Western polling group, claiming that their pre-election polls show Iranians maybe DID vote 2-1 for Ahmadinejad. Not the college-educated Tehran elite, who are all rioty and stuff now, but the vast majority of Iranians, who appear to be the Persian equivalent of 2004 Bush voters.
