'Capture The Night' With a Photo From a CVS Parking Lot
On the corner of 7th St. NW and Florida Ave. NW, in the parking lot of the CVS, there is a makeshift photo booth where you can get your photo taken against the backdrop of a Cadillac, a grandiose staircase, Outer Space or a bottle of Ciroc vodka. Your Wonkette wasn't going to take a photo, but then a gay couple said that she "had" to, because "this is gangster," and gave her $10 to take one.
Yeah, $10 seems like a lot, but it didn't seem like "G," the guy who runs the whole operation, was having any trouble getting customers. The location is pretty convenient for snagging people who are out on the town (it's right by the 9: 30 Club, DC9, U St. and Howard University), think this is "cute," or are just too hammered to give two shits.
Don't expect a professional studio setup -- some guy who is not G will come out and take a quick photo with a digital camera, plug it into a printer, and stick it into a little sleeve for you, prom-style.
