- Friday, March 27: If you never understood why Dadaist Marcel Duchamp was an artist for calling a urinal a piece of art, then come to the National Portrait Gallery’s five-hour Duchamp extravaganza. Art professors from all over the world will be shedding light on his career and legacy. 1-6PM. [NPG]
- Friday, March 27: Finally, the Hirschhorn After Hours event has arrived! There will be artists, live DJs and “an all night 360-degree audio visual immersion experience,” which sounds like it could be “enhanced” with a bit of alcohol. 8PM, $18. [Hirschhorn]
- Saturday, March 28: Celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival indoors, watching anime. The Freer and Sackler Galleries will be screening four classic anime movies, followed by a costume show by the DC Anime Club. Also, don’t forget to bring your Magic cards. [SI]
