SPELLING NAGS

This ‘Kendra’ Character Should Resign

Computer whiz!Well, now we know why District Republicans are such an incredibly powerful bunch: because they can bend the laws of spelling to their will. After the jump, a press release from the D.C. Republicans suggesting that a mysterious “Vive Kendra,” a former French porn starlet with a knack for computers, should resign from the Obama administration.

Friday the 13th Brings Horrors to the District

Washington, DC: The DC Republican Committee made the following statement in regard to yesterday’s news that the FBI raided the DC’s Chief Technology Office and arrested one District employee and a well known contractor.

“It’s ironic that as the FBI was raiding Vive Kendra’s former District office, when Kendra was giving a speech at FOSE about changing the way the government procurement should be handled. Kendra made national news last night because of his mismanagement of the District’s Procurement Office. He should step down immediately from his position in the Obama administration,” stated DC Republican Committee Chairman Robert J. Kabel.

Just wait till President Billroque Orbimbo finds out about this!

D.C. Mayor Fenty said repeatedly yesterday, as did White House officials, that the FBI investigation literally had “nothing” to do with Kendra, or whatever his name is. The investigation focused on a D.C. Technology Office employee who allegedly made clandestine business dealings with a local contractor that were against all civil and criminal regulatory laws, and that’s probably about it. Kendra resigned recently because he knew he was getting the White House gig. But, so far, White House and D.C. officials are sticking to the point that Kendra is not a target of the investigation, and has nothing to with that case.

Should have changed his name to Bobby Kundra. Then everything would have been OK.

I googled Vive Kendra and got a link to Kendra’s Livestock News. He/she was probably giving a speech on government procurement of sheep. That must be why they are calling for her resignation. You know how the R’s are partial to their livestock.

The Kendra in the foto seems a bit flat, like the Dodgers usually are.

From CNN Associate Producer Martina Stewart
Here’s more, from CNN; note the last graph, this time from “a law enforcement official:”

WASHINGTON (CNN) – After just a week on the job, the Obama administration’s new chief information officer is taking a leave of absence until further notice.

A White House official tells CNN that Vivek Kundra is taking a leave from his post at the Office of Management and Budget until more details become known about an FBI investigation that resulted in a search of his former work place.

A law enforcement source with knowledge of the investigation told CNN that Kundra is not involved in the case.

You know, Will Ferrell’s GWB really pales in comparison to the guy from The Last Picture Show who did him on the short-lived “That’s My Bush!” I’m just saying, since apparently that story is just a big, commentless ad.

Sort of wierd to see the republicans so concerned with “mismanagement”, NOW, even though it was the gold standard for their party during the last 8 years.

Viva Kendra! Long live exhibitionist attention whores! Actually not, since that seems to describe just about every public face of the G.O.P. or the conservative movement.

New reality TV show: Who’s smarter, Playboy centerfold or conservative TV pundit or Jeff Gannon?

  13. Ok, I’m willing to give Vivek a pass on this, but if it turns out he managed a secret assassination squad that only reported to him, it’s worth a second look.

  14. S’Okay, Robert. Spelling is hard.

  15. Doglessliberal says at 11:04 am, March 13th, 2009

masterdebater: that was “letting the free market and capitalism work” and
