What is icelandic for Lykke Li?Feeling bad about everything? Well, it could be worse: You could be living in Iceland, which is completely bankrupt and destitute. Yet Iceland, like its Viking Neighbors in Scandinavia, somehow produces wonderful music — which you can get a big dose of, right here in DC, on Tuesday!

Café Saint-Ex presents its monthly program of Scandinavian pop & rock with lovely new music from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Finland. DJ Natalya and DJ Rick Taylor (We Fought the Big One) will play the music from 10PM-? as you consume Viking beer and Reyka vodka. No cover!

Café Saint-Ex, 1847 14th Street, NW, Washington DC.

Just remember: that which does not kill me makes me stronger.

Unfortunately, frostbite can definitely kill you.

I’m only coming out of hole for Sigur Ros, or Norwegian Death Metal, whichever comes first.

I am still on Iceland watch. Once I can take a stack of 100 $1 bills to Iceland and get laid, stoned and drunk everyday for at least 1 week (or preferably a month), I will go.

And, we should write it off on our taxes as the need to attend the Wonkette Global Summit there. Who’se in?
