I’m afraid I must call BULLSHIT on this story. Why, just last night on CNN, that nice young Ralph Reed fellow repeatedly stated that Sarah Plain and all her staff were voluntarily making themselves available to Troopergate investigators, so there’s no need for subpoenas and such. And Ralph maintains that he’s a good Xtian, so why would he lie like that, repeatedly, straight-eyed into the camera???
The problem facing the McCain campaign is this: Goebbels was right about the Big Lie, but that’s not what the McCainiacs are doing. They’re telling a hundred little lies, which will prove WAY harder to pull off, particularly for months at a time. And, for some reason I still haven’t divined, the MSM seems willing to actually call the candidacy out on its manifold fallicies, which will make the next six weeks one very long tightrope walk for McCain/Plain.
Even the most fundy mouthbreathers will question their assumptions about Sarah Plain once they realize that they’ve been lied to. It won’t matter which of the hundred lies they see through; it’ll only take one. And there’s a hundred to choose from, shoppers, so have at it.
