Obama Ad Unfairly Trashes George W. Bush’s Character

by Jim Newell  4:03 pm August 25, 2008

Here’s a Fun new Obama ad that SLAMS John McCain for NOT GETTING THE ECONOMETRICS. This is offfensive — who is this horrible yacht-rocker changing the lyrics of a Sam Cooke song? This is just so racist against George W. Bush. [YouTube, Raw Story]

Well, McCain can count up to 5 AND A HALF YEARS, ALAN. And that’s what matters.

getoffmylawns!

I think the guy singing did my prom. It was either that or he was at the bar of the Quality Inn in Scranton last week.

Dubya done brung democracy to America.
And we’re all reaping the fruits of his labor.
So leave him alone.

SayItWithWookies August 25, 2008 at 4:09 pm

Oh, it’s really regrettable that they’ve dragged Cindy through the mud like that.

Chiraq August 25, 2008 at 4:10 pm

If I were to have seven houses, will McSame hug me like he’s a-hugging the Gee-Dubya… ‘coz if the answer is yes, I’ll get out the Monopoly set.

Hug me, McPain. Hug me like I was Cindy— and then call me a — what did he call her, again?

villageatrois August 25, 2008 at 4:11 pm

Dubya raped some fruits? WTF?

Larry McAwful August 25, 2008 at 4:15 pm

Wait… wasn’t McCain a prisoner of war? Doesn’t that make it okay for him to be utterly incompetent at being president?

LEAVE JOHN MCCAIN ALOOOONNNE! HE’S A HUMANNN!

SkimLatteModerate August 25, 2008 at 4:17 pm

What, doesn’t Obama believe in freedom?

columnv August 25, 2008 at 4:18 pm

Who would be top and bottom in that relationship?

I think McCain would be an (admitidly crooked) top.

I sure could have thought of better rhymes for don’t know much about the price of gas.

Don’t recall where Czechoslovakia was.
Can’t count my houses with an abacas.
Still jerk off to Vicki Iseman’s ass.

Crow T. Robot August 25, 2008 at 4:21 pm

Is Johnny Seven Houses a “have” or a “have more”?

[re=68612]RuperttheBear[/re]:

You know, when McCain was being TORTURED FOR AMERICA those were tough times. This economic “downturn” is a walk in the park compared to that.

Will Joe Biden use a similar line of attack on McCain as compared to 9u11iani? “.. a noun, a verb and FIVE AND HALF YEARS, ALAN.”

american mutt August 25, 2008 at 4:29 pm

I don’t know, I kinda like that tune. Obama’s campaign should work with the concept ear worms — songs that get stuck in your head.

Something with lyrics like, McCain’s a piece of shit asshole, cuntface, doucheball, who doesn’t know how many houses he own because he was tortured by babies he was trying to kill in ‘nam… tra la la.

Who is the mystery singer? It sounds suspiciously like James Taylor…maybe it’s his son?

So it turns out Hopey can throw a pretty nasty punch after all. Well played, Hopey, well played.

I still want to see a commercial like this to “Secret Lovers.”

[re=68618]SayItWithWookies[/re]: I agree. I thought that Barack Obama said spouses were off limits, but now he’s opened up the door for all kinds of attacks. McCain wanted this to be a clean campaign, but now he’ll be forced to create a Hussein-arugula-Rezko-flagpin-bitter-exotic-BLACK ad. Why does Barack make this POW war hero do such thing?

fishcanoeski August 25, 2008 at 5:04 pm

I like the idea of:
“Warmonger McCain.
Like the kind that we fought in the Second World War.”

Sung to the tune of Prince’s “Raspberry Beret”. But my kid informs me that Prince is probably a Repub, so I guess that’s out. Would have been nice to sing at the GOP convention in Prince’s home town though.

I hope my last half-drunk $100 contribution didn’t get spent on that.

Johnny Zhivago August 25, 2008 at 6:24 pm

Five and half years. FIVE AND HALF YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

villageatrois August 25, 2008 at 8:13 pm

Yeah, Mc 5.5! Looking for a 2.5 to round out the ticket.

Lionel Hutz Esq. August 25, 2008 at 10:21 pm

McCain doesn’t care about econometrics, he only cares about psychohistoricalmetrics. He is the Mule!
