U.S. Troops Give Barack Obama Their Elitist ‘Money’

Oh ho ho: “According to an analysis of campaign contributions by the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, Democrat Barack Obama has received nearly six times as much money from troops deployed overseas at the time of their contributions than has Republican John McCain, and the fiercely anti-war Ron Paul, though he suspended his campaign for the Republican nomination months ago, has received more than four times McCain’s haul.” Wow. Barack Obama hates American troops so much that he takes all of their money! [OpenSecrets via AMERICAblog]

He had a side bet with them about JEd’s baby making abilities. That’s all. Nothing to see here.

  3. Naked Bunny with a Whip

This is what happens when you let negroes in the Army. It was their master plan to enslave the White Race all along. I’ll just have to learn to accept being some hunky, uniformed darkies’ sex slave. Bummer.

  4. Noodle Salad

These are those overseas foreign troops, probably stationed in the Mooslim world. What about those brave heroes fighting the internets wars and earning McCain points in the struggle against the Librul infidels here in ‘Merica?

  5. AngryBlakGuy

…no wonder we haven’t won the war on terror, because our military is full of America haters!!!

  6. NoWireHangers

This is great, but then I remember that the undecideds and bitters don’t care about things like facts and polls and such. Kerry had a Purple Heart and they made him look like a wimpy elitist fool. How do you get through to Morans? I wish I knew.

BoreExpert, etc…, allow me to answer that question.

If I were a troop, I’d hate America because of the chafing, caused by walking around that hellish dustbowl in all sorts of gear. I’d especially hate republicans, cuz they sent us there and all.

[re=59706]Servo[/re]: If they really cared about their country, they’d be here on election day!

  9. Cape Clod

Obviously the troops understand the candidates’ positions better the the mainstream media.

[re=59710]NoWireHangers[/re]: Two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and a Silver Star, that fucking Defeatocrat.

  11. Iggy Plop

i’m going to e-mail that story to my racist, Republican Army warrant officer brother-in-law every day until something better comes along.

[re=59706]Servo[/re]: …they wont have time to fill them out when they are fighting in Georgia.

  13. CivicHoliday

Haha! Ron Paul is beating out McCain in troop donations! Perhaps they got a whif of his stanky record with veterans groups? I know too many who’ve served 3 or more tours. Good for them for making their voices heard through the allmighty dollar.

[re=59731]shortsshortsshorts[/re]: …nah, this milestone calls for something truly special. Like drugging and gang raping a fellow female contractor maybe!!! Or is that only for the celebration of Ronald Reagan’s birthday?

  15. sezme

[re=59685]Lionel Hutz Esq.[/re]: More the point, Why won’t the troops support the troops? Ha ha!

  16. Serolf Divad

Just being provocative here, but I bet If McCain were a young POW in Iraq, I he and his fellow prisoners would secretly fashion an envelope out of tea bags and weave a check out of camel hair and make a contribution to Obama, too.

[re=59764]mookworthjwilson[/re]: Fiat money, which they know is worthless. (BTW, was Mookie Wilson’s first name really “Mookworth?” This is probably a really stupid question, but I live on the west coast.)

  18. Fear of a Black Reagan

RedState is going apeshit. It would be hilarious if they weren’t trying to Cut The Troops’ Throats.

  19. Doglessliberal

[re=59710]NoWireHangers[/re]: we need to convince them Election Day is November 6 this year.

  20. mattbolt

Maybe if Ronnie gets enough military support he can convert his blimp into a fearsome military airship, casting an ominous shadow over the people of Iraq as it rained explosives down on the streets of Baghdad like a fearsome Great War Zeppelin, all while reminding the people of Iraq with its massive emblazoned message to “GOOGLE RON PAUL”

  21. TGY

You left out the real kicker: Ron Paul got four times as much as WALNUTS! and he isn’t even running anymore. I guess he failed to stay flat.

    [re=59807]Fear of a Black Reagan[/re]:
Let’s have a link! I want to laugh at them for a while.

  23. sarcasticusername

the republicans have done their best to make sure the troops make as little money as possible and barry has the nerve to take those pennies away from them. why does he hate the troops? why does he hate america? now walnuts & co are going to have to strip the troops of ALL of their protective gear to punish them for this display of obvious hatred for american values.

  24. sarcasticusername

monsieur grumpe: you mean the troops don’t want to stay in iraq for all eternity? who knew. they’d obviously rather lose a war so they can come home and be lazy bastards. do people not believe in honor anymore?

  25. grendel

I can’t wait to hear Walnuts say that the troops contributing to Barry are defeatist traitor surrender-monkeys.

  26. Lionel Hutz Esq.

[re=59695]BadNewsJack[/re]: [re=59719]BadNewsJack[/re]: [re=59743]sezme[/re]: [re=59691]BoreExpert[/re]: Great minds? Or are all of us just drinking more than we should on a Thursday?

Still, I think we can all agree that the troops are committed to a policy of defeat.

  27. ReverendGreen

Whether it’s a fallacy or not, if I were Obama, I would cite this and say “I guess supporting the troops means more often than not supporting me” to anger ol’ Walnuts and get him to lose his bladder during the debates.
