Horrific Song Will Defeat Democrats, Terrorists

by Ken Layne  6:20 pm July 17, 2008

The first verse is “The Democrat secular progressive move, political correctness is killing us too. They want to take the money from the hard workin man, and give it to the lazy folks that don’t give a damn.” The opening image of the video is, of course, a fat slob sitting on a tractor. Jesus wept.

Who is responsible for this terrible piece of shit? Steve Jobs, probably. This was made with that “Garage Band” software on those gay Macintosh computers, wasn’t it? Or maybe it’s the karaoke music to “Addicted To Love” or something.

As for the lyricist, it’s the same dildo who put up those billboards in Florida showing the burning WTC towers behind the slogan “Please don’t vote for a Democrat.” You know, because we can’t have terrorisms if there’s a Democrat, and we need the 9/11s to prove the Patriotism. LET A MILLION 9/11s BLOSSOM IN AMERICA.

Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

roundofapplause July 17, 2008 at 6:31 pm

time out: freedom is a god given right? Here i thought “freedom dunt come free” was the tune they ring their bell to.

HandsomePete July 17, 2008 at 6:32 pm

Horrific? Did you not hear that guitar solo? Elitist fag.

magic titty July 17, 2008 at 6:32 pm

Dear god.

I’m drafting the Articles of Secession as we speak….hold please…

Vewol Mevemont July 17, 2008 at 6:33 pm

Poor farmers. What will they do with $55 billion a year in federal largesse? And here I am, a lazy liberal, footing the bill for these fat, whiny fuckers.

Borat July 17, 2008 at 6:34 pm

umm. that’s no fat slob republican. didn’t you read his shirt? it says ‘athletic department’ no one who goes to the athletic department is a fat slob. you don’t understand if i say something is true, its true, facts be damned. see al-obama doesn’t wear clothes like that ever. therefore he’s the fat slob. shame on him

wheelie July 17, 2008 at 6:34 pm

I had no idea that racquetball was so fundamental to patriotic American values.

Lionel Hutz Esq. July 17, 2008 at 6:35 pm

When I think of the poor working men like Bob Novak, or those toiling away for under a million at your local hedge fund, and I think of those damn commie democrats like Obama who are planning to tax them and fly airplanes into their buildings. Boy oh boy howdy how that makes me mad. I just hope Obama goes back to his cave in Tora Bora and we can finally kick his ass before he makes anybody earning over $500,000 pay taxes.

JeffGoldblum July 17, 2008 at 6:36 pm

I think these are the same folks that put together a little show called Horse Apples.

WHEY!

bhosp July 17, 2008 at 6:40 pm

What does it say about me that all I thought about that song was that it would be awesome in Guitar Hero? Nothing good, right?

Hooray For Anything July 17, 2008 at 6:42 pm

I didn’t realize the New Yorker was now putting videos on YouTube.

unicow July 17, 2008 at 6:47 pm

I have just learned that the following groups of people are Republicans:

Pink-shirted (aka gay) cowboys.
High school graduates.
Elitist iPod listeners.
Kids who dress like they’re from 1989.
Joe Don Baker playing a guitar.
Lesbians who dance in their kitchen.
Squash players.
Guys who take 4 minutes to write one goddamn sentence.
All incredibly white.

Okay, the last two and the first one seem right, but the rest just confuse me. Too many elites! (Yes, Joe Don Baker is considered an elitist Hollywood liberals.)

greatgooglymoogly July 17, 2008 at 6:49 pm

“Republicans were not perfect but we know the truth. We uphold the Constitution and the Golden Rule.”

Class: deconstruct, compare and contrast, with analysis on whether any portion of this verse does NOT cause blood to flow immediately from the ears. Discuss.

And stop looking at Slim Slack girl.

MoodProcessor July 17, 2008 at 6:55 pm

Does Mike “Dead Hands” Meehan (the Republican, and assumedly Christian)realize there’s a lezbean twirling in his kitchen?
I liked his placement on the barn though; in the place of the weather-vane.
(Insert metallic cock joke here.)

loquaciousmusic July 17, 2008 at 6:55 pm

Good lord. That almost makes me want to listen to the album where Todd Rundgren raps.

Almost.

jimh July 17, 2008 at 6:56 pm

Hahahahaha, I love the part where Republicans know the truth and “uphold the constitution and the golden rule.” WTF, somebody’s not paying very close attention to either one. Up is down, down is up. Also brilliant is the line about “not fighting for oil, we got plenty if we drill it.”
This song has turned me to a moran.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!

This video is a page out of Goering’s playbook:

“Why of course the people don’t want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” -Reichsmarschall Hermann Goering

Canuckledragger July 17, 2008 at 6:56 pm

“…political correctness is killing us too.”

Yeah, forget that Agent Orange, and napalm, and RPGs, and IEDs, and ICBMs, and MIRVs, and all that ordnance shit.

“Political correctness” is the most foul and lethal weapon ever devised.

Fuck, if only.

I’d happily enlist at the PC reeducation camp tomorrow if it’d put an end to dipshits like this.

And Tony.

WadISay July 17, 2008 at 6:58 pm

Stay home. Stay ho-ho-ho-ho-home.
Stay home. Stay ho-ho-ho-ho-home.
Stay home. Stay ho-ho-ho-ho-home.
Please don’t vote for a Democrat.

NoWireHangers July 17, 2008 at 6:58 pm

Hard working? Yeah, that graduate better be if she wants to ever pay off her student loans. And when he falls off the roof of the barn after the guitar solo, he’s going to wish we had universal health care. And that iPod was made in China.

jimh July 17, 2008 at 6:59 pm

[re=38940]greatgooglymoogly[/re]: You beated me to it. You must have an elitist high speed innernet connection.

itgetter July 17, 2008 at 7:00 pm

[re=38935]Hooray For Anything[/re]: Nice.

“Our constitution, nation ‘n god are under attack”

I bet God is really sweating all the flack he’s getting from the dems.

badco/LoJ July 17, 2008 at 7:01 pm

This guy likes Jeff Gordon? I call bullshit.

Fata Morgana July 17, 2008 at 7:04 pm

At least he is a talented musician.

Gopherit v2.0 July 17, 2008 at 7:05 pm

Why didn’t he show all of the migrants in his fields looking at el jefe loco dancing on top of the barn?

Do I ever want to watch that again? Oh no, no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no.

magic titty July 17, 2008 at 7:05 pm

[re=38947]loquaciousmusic[/re]: I’m totally drowning it out with the sweet sweet sounds of Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music.

Gopherit v2.0 July 17, 2008 at 7:05 pm

[re=38960]badco/LoJ[/re]: No shit. No real NASCAR fan likes that prissy little twerp.

Cicada July 17, 2008 at 7:08 pm

“They want to take the money from the hard workin man, and give it to the lazy folks that don’t give a damn.”

Wow. Those lyrics, and that guitar solo, are straight out of the 1980′s. Why oh why didn’t the geniuses behind this find a way to work in “welfare mothers in limousines” or the “evil empire”? What, the Gipper isn’t good enough for ya’, Mr. American Flag Shirt? Damn commies.

loquaciousmusic July 17, 2008 at 7:10 pm

[re=38967]magic titty[/re]: I see your Lou Reed and raise you Rod Stewart covering Tom Waits.

In the comments below that video, someone has written Tom Waits > Rod Stewart. I think we’re going to have to start using the “greater than/less than” symbols a lot more around here.

well, since the corporate take over of the record companies, every musician has to find a marketing tool.

If you look really, really closely you can spot the subtle product placement of his CD in this video.

slowhansolo July 17, 2008 at 8:32 pm

Fuckwad’s playing a plywood Dean acoustic.

Nice. Ditto that awful, super-compressed electric guitar. Next time use the DS-1 as a doorstop.

All he needed was some gated drums ala Phil Collins, and he’d have reached Flock of Seagulls tonal Nirvana.

Oh yeah, the lyrics were pretty bad as well.

masterdebater July 17, 2008 at 8:38 pm

Good god, won’t these political folks make up their mind? I thought I was hard working, and now I find out I’m lazy. Next, they will tell me I’m not white or something. I’m very confused.

Desi Douche July 17, 2008 at 8:50 pm

Ummm…

I followed the link to the teevee station page and watched the video

Mike Meehan is a Canadian citizen

CometHasTheFloor July 17, 2008 at 9:15 pm

As a hardworking and pretty well-off lib(eral/ertarian/tard), I find that they have point and am tempted to take them up on it. Income redistribution is all well and good, but if it comes with the price of discrimination and bad grammar, it’s just no longer worth it to me.

imatter July 17, 2008 at 9:49 pm

If I were standing on the roof about to fall playing a guitar, I’d clench my spinchter too.

Doctor Klaproth July 17, 2008 at 10:32 pm

I tried staring at the American flag in my backyard so I could write songs too, but it’s just not as inspiring to me as it was to him. Is the secret his tractor? Do I have to ride by the flag on a tractor?

rmontcal July 17, 2008 at 10:33 pm

Is that Freedom Rock? Well turn it up!

Who the hell still drives open-top tractors anyway? They’re a safety hazard.

Even the farmers are more advanced in Australia, dammit.

[re=39135]Johnny Zhivago[/re]: Good one.

mc_frontalot July 18, 2008 at 5:48 am

Why does internet have to post every wretched song with bad video five hundred places? Youtube is rotting our culture, for serious though. Not like we all don’t help it along.

Servo July 18, 2008 at 6:10 am

Shouldn’t that website be http://www.outoftouchfilms.com?
That Marine Seargent’s uniform is particularly insulting. I have one just like it in my closet and, believe me, I get infuriated when fat fucks like him try to give lip service to the military. Most of the young men and women in the military are there because their only option was to become the muscle of King George and his Corporate America pals, who are kept in power by these easily-swayed genetic anomalies.

Darehead July 18, 2008 at 6:52 am

It’s a page out of Mao’s little Red Book: A Peasant Revolution!

Without the poor peasants[farmers] it would never have been possible to bring about in the countryside the present state of revolution, to overthrow the local bullies[Democrats] and bad gentry[elitists], or to complete the [anti-] democratic revolution….

Soon, all the elitists will be rounded up. Their books and lattes and fancy diplomas will be taken away and they will be sent to rural America and forced to get fat and drive tractors.

Monsieur Grumpe July 18, 2008 at 9:06 am

Cheesy drum machine track, guitar solo so far behind the beat that time itself seems to stop while listening, no cow bell, huge belt buckles, a chorus that consists of one word repeated endlessly, a confederate flag tastefully placed below the American flag , a couple of kids that are obviously the result of inbreeding, guy on tractor with an XXXXXXXL athletic shirt and a Stratocastor that is made in Japan.

One word.
Inspiring.

teebob2000 July 18, 2008 at 9:16 am

Damn that’s good song! They don’t write em like this no more. Ain’ heared nothing this good and stirring emotional-wise since “Livin on a Prayer”. (sniff) ‘Scuse me for a minute…

Uh, he left the goddamn tractor running the whole time he wrote, edited and recorded the song, passed out CDs and danced on the roof?

Also, I’m sending this to my grandma right now. I’ll be back in the will.
