  1. Isn’t this the best thing that could have ever happened to Obama? Other than maybe if Rev. Sharpton was standing with him when he said whatever it is that he said…?

  2. The Chris O’Donnell lookalike sporting the douchey bowtie on Drudge’s page looks as though he might want to lick the sweat from Barry’s upper lip. Maybe that’s why Jesse’s all pissy.

  3. [re=32449]floraway[/re]: And, other than Karl Marx rising from the grave to call Obama a “hideous capitalist,” yeah, this is pretty awesome for Barry. Kind of a reverse Sistah Souljah.

  4. lol… this is getting hilarious:

Jesse Jackson appeared by phone this afternoon on “The Situation Room” to discuss comments that he made in front of an open microphone, which he now calls “crude and hurtful.” In the remarks, Jackson voiced criticism of how Barack Obama was speaking to the black community.

“Its so crude we can’t repeat it on the air,” CNN’s Blitzer just said.

But apparently, Fox has the tape, and it will be played tonight on Hannity & Colmes.

Earlier, Jackson sent a statement to CNN about the remarks.

“For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize,” Jackson said in a statement issued to CNN. “My support for Senator Obama’s campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal. I cherish this redemptive and historical moment.”

“My appeal was for the moral content of his message to not only deal with the personal and moral responsibility of black males, but to deal with the collective moral responsibility of government and the public policy which would be a corrective action for the lack of good choices that often led to their irresponsibility,” Jackson also said.

“That was the context of my private conversation and it does not reflect any disparagement on my part for the historic event in which we are involved or my pride in Senator Barack Obama, who is leading it, whom I have supported by crisscrossing this nation in every level of media and audience from the beginning in absolute terms.”

UPDATE: Drudge is playing this big right now, so I expect a lot of reporters are scrambling to figure out exactly what was said before Fox airs it later (and networks will have to decide whether or it’s too “crude” as Blitzer said). Bucks Right caught Hannity’s radio show today and has an idea.

  5. [re=32460]Dave J.[/re]: Yes. Outrageous and OFFENSIVE! Jesse Jackson should be rejected, reviled, renounced AND repudiated. Also, he should be immediately fired by whoever employs him while he does whatever the fuck he does. I will organize the boycott of the sponsors!

  6. Radio host Sean Hannity just revealed that FOX News is in possession of an exclusive tape of Reverend Jesse Jackson, recorded after a recent interview when he thought the microphone was off, slamming Barack Hussein Obama for “talking down black people on matters of faith” (Hannity also has said it as “talking down to black people on matters of faith”) among other issues.

Hannity also intimated that Jackson says he wants to “rip Obama’s nuts off” on the tape. Hannity would not say “nuts,” but based on his description (portion of the male anatomy beginning with an “n”) I believe that’s the word he was going for.

Hannity says the tape will be played in its entirety on tonight’s Hannity and Colmes.

In general, unless he says… you know what? I don’t care what he says. He’s Jesse Jackson. He’s in the column of the “Nobody cares anymore” spreadsheet.

  7. Jesse is such a pig. I saw him, years ago, on one of those Wedding shows (I was stoned, leave me alone). He was the HNIC of the ceremony. In the room with the groom before the service, ole’ Jes’ grabs his huge negro basket and says, “Yeh, yeh, yeh, you can say g’bye to yo money now?” God what a pig. But I don’t care what he cuts off of Obama. I hearz that O didn’t get the negro version of the n**s, anyway.

  8. “For any harm or hurt that this hot mic private conversation may have caused, I apologize,”

“Woooh, hot mic!” Reminds me of that middle-school teacher couple–the Culps–that Will Ferrell and Ana Gastayer did on SNL.

  9. [re=32514]ManchuCandidate[/re]: I also love it when idiots post “I don’t care” after anything they don’t care about. I guess they just like to see their brainless footprint all over the place. It would be like if I went into McDonald’s every day and said “No thanks, I don’t want any.”
