Poll Shows Collective ‘Enh’ Among 15% Of Voters

by Sara K. Smith

Survey says: Bring on the juntaHere is a very interesting poll from your Gallup organization, which shows Undecided finally pulling away form Neither/Other in the polls. However, Candidate “Total not Obama or McCain” is beating both their hindquarters — suggesting that Ron Paul really is secretly pulling the levers of Democracy and positioning himself for an eleventh-hour November blowout. Racists who hate old people?

ManchuCandidate June 16, 2008 at 9:58 am

Between the Naderites and Barr/Paultards, it will be an interesting tough fight to see who gets last place.

Canuckledragger June 16, 2008 at 10:00 am

Yeah, I said last week that Bob Barr would team up with Ron Paul, and now that’s happening. That explains one percent of the “enh” vote.

The other fourteen percent?

Vermin Supreme, baby. He’s surgin’ ‘coz we’re urgin’ him to burgeon a whole new purgin’. [That's his real campaign slogan. I'm telling ya, it's gonna be a frikkin' landslide.]

daneellaw June 16, 2008 at 10:02 am

Exactly what is the difference between “Neither/Other” and “Not Obama or McCain”? Sounds like 23% should be the total Enh

TGY June 16, 2008 at 10:03 am

Oh, good. The Naderites are pulling ahead of the know-nothings.

toastandlove June 16, 2008 at 10:07 am

[re=16655]daneellaw[/re]: I guess “Not Obama or McCain” is “Neither/Other” + “Undecided”.

And those Undecideds are really more of a “meh” group, than an “enh” group.

gurukalehuru June 16, 2008 at 10:10 am

Barrtards or PaulBarrs? Which way we gonna go?

TJBeck June 16, 2008 at 10:16 am

I’m undecided about what this means. Enh.

Servo June 16, 2008 at 10:16 am

How many of these carbon footprints know what they’ll be doing in the next five minutes?

MathewBrooks June 16, 2008 at 10:19 am

Not ‘enh’ but ‘meh’

Imagine42 June 16, 2008 at 10:24 am

[re=16668]MathewBrooks[/re]: This is just another example of the MSM not showing us the data that really matters. Everyone is looking for the ‘enh’ vs ‘meh’ demographic breakdown, but of course they don’t tell us that, and the graph ends up painting a totally misleading picture. I can’t wait until November, when Ron Paul stages an electoral coup and takes over the entire media so they will start bringing us the Freedom Facts we need to make Patriotic Decisions.

AngryBlakGuy June 16, 2008 at 10:32 am

…WoW, Brain-dead is really pulling away from Oxygen Deprived meanwhile Missing a Chromosome is flat!

bitchincamaro June 16, 2008 at 10:34 am

At a time when the 2 major candidates are as different as
night and day (no pun), you have to assume the “neither-nor-undecideds”
are Barrtards (I like this one) or completely battshit crazy bitter
Hillary holdouts. Why doesn’t Gallup include the Libtards as an
option in their polling and keep us from guessing?

m_supercomputer June 16, 2008 at 10:36 am

I’m pretty sure neither/other refers to people to have made up their mind not to support Obama or McCain, undecided means pretty much what it sounds like, and the “neither Obama or McCain” is the total of both categories. That’s how I read it, anyway.

loudmouthredhead June 16, 2008 at 10:39 am

Soooo…does this mean to truly decide things, we must have Barr and Paul have a no-holds-barred Jello/mud wrestle for the ambivalent “legalize everything!” stoner/netizen nutjob vote? The winner could claim the useless detritus of society, or the whole spectacle will make them all vomit themselves to death. We win either way, yes?

WadISay June 16, 2008 at 10:43 am

OMG, the thundering voice of Lieberman is having its effect.

These are the Po-Jama People. What’s oddly missing is the fluffy-slipper vs. woolen sock demographic.

Botswana Meat Commission FC June 16, 2008 at 10:59 am

“Whatever” for President.

bago June 16, 2008 at 11:04 am

Can we combine the paultards with the barr tards and create pbr-tards?

WonksRunAmuck June 16, 2008 at 11:16 am

[re=16708]bago[/re]: I’ll give a halfhearted “ehn” to that!

I Am Not Your Gary Busey June 16, 2008 at 11:50 am

Are the “Neither/Others” or the “Undecided/ No Opinions” the Truthers?

May I humbly suggest “PaBarr” for the odd slightly fey humunculous that will be the likely pairing for these mouth breathers?

[re=16740]I Am Not Your Gary Busey[/re]: Of course the one on the left being the good doctor. Unfortunately Mr. Barr chose the floral print number rather than the yellow pant-suit, but whatever…

Makeithurt June 16, 2008 at 12:02 pm

That’s who I’m voting for: neither Walnuts or M.U.Llatto.

AxmxZ June 16, 2008 at 12:04 pm

THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR HILLAY CLINTON!

thefrontpage June 16, 2008 at 12:06 pm

Serious here: Many, many, many people just don’t want to vote for Obama or McCain. They simply do not want to cast their vote for either one of these men, as many people feel they both will be just flat-out horrible, scary, disastrous presidents of the United States. It’s that simple.

[re=16750]thefrontpage[/re]: Can it get much worse than what we have had for the last eight years though? In my opinion anyone short of Hitler, Stalin, or Saddam Hussein would be a step up at this point.

Just my two cents (seriously)

AxmxZ June 16, 2008 at 12:11 pm

[re=16750]thefrontpage[/re]: Elect Bob Barr the new Ross Perot!

shortsshortsshorts June 16, 2008 at 12:24 pm

Bob Barr, with a bullet.

[re=16755]AxmxZ[/re]: Exactly.

[re=16750]thefrontpage[/re]:
Really? Like Paultards and Naderites actually know better? Wonketteer, Please.

Election is just another word for Least Worst Choice.

thursdaynext27 June 16, 2008 at 1:05 pm

Throw in “Not Hillary” to the “Not Obama or McCain” mix, and that sums up the election for me. I fear McCain, went from tolerate-to-immensely-dislike Clinton since January, and have been consistently ambivalent about Obama but will vote for him because he’s NotBush.

But I was really hoping for better choices.
