Bloggers never lie. They just slowly fade away.

  2. ReelectTilden says at 9:05 am, June 3rd, 2008

“Don’t trust bloggers”? Why, I never!

  3. Godless Liberal * says at 9:10 am, June 3rd, 2008

But…but what if Michelle Obama is lying? What then? WHAT THEN?

  4. slavojzizek says at 9:12 am, June 3rd, 2008

Can you imagine a country where serious critics of the government never get on tv? Seems unbelievable.

  5. Pop Socket says at 9:17 am, June 3rd, 2008

Putting the PTSD soldier barracks next to the firing range was only the second choice location. The prime spot next to the IED Demolition Team training ground was already taken by the paraplegic obstacle course.

Word to the wise, Barry. If you’re going to meet Hillary at a place of her time and choosing, you better be sporting head-to-toe Kevlar. Just saying.

  7. ManchuCandidate says at 9:19 am, June 3rd, 2008

No wonder I couldn’t see Jerry in the Russian version of Seinfeld.

  8. Darehead says at 9:19 am, June 3rd, 2008

“A lie told often enough becomes truth.”
    –Vladimir Lenin

    Worked for the Swiftboaters.

queeraselvis v 2.0: Also, he better show up nice and early. And not eat or drink anything. Just saying.

Now, I’m no expert on accessories….so help me. Where the hell do you get a wooden purse? Is this Big Sky resourcefulness?

  11. TrukNutz says at 9:27 am, June 3rd, 2008

Hillary still has dignity, there must be something more potent than Maker’s Mark in that glass.

  12. graceless says at 9:32 am, June 3rd, 2008

TrukNutz: She drinks Crown Royal, Makers Mark is American, Crown Royal is not.

  13. Fferret says at 9:35 am, June 3rd, 2008

@graceless: Well, we know who’s going to be paying for that meal.

  14. Canuckledragger says at 9:44 am, June 3rd, 2008

graceless: And she chases it down with a Royal Crown cola. She’s got this thing for ‘royalty’ from some reason.

As for the Crown Royal, she just likes to squish the bag with her bare hands. Projecting much?

  15. Darehead says at 9:47 am, June 3rd, 2008

Hillary will commit public seppuku at the place of her choosing. Mark Penn will try three times to ritually behead her; if he fails, the head will be severed by standby Geraldine Fa-la-la. Penn will then commit seppuku himself, and Fa-la-la will cut his head.

  16. ForTheTurnstiles says at 9:49 am, June 3rd, 2008

slavojzizek: Don’t have to imagine it. The most serious critic of our current regime on television right now is the sports guy, Ron Olbermann Burgundy.

  17. Dramatist says at 9:51 am, June 3rd, 2008

What are those soldiers doing back here? I thought they were supposed to be redeployed to bring freedom to the people of Iraq. Whiners.

  18. TJBeck says at 9:52 am, June 3rd, 2008

By the way, IF YOU LIE IN ALL CAPS IT BECOMES TRUE OR AT LEAST IT DOESN”ZT MATTE ANYMORE BECAUS EYOU KNOW THE ASSHOLE SPEWING THE CRAP AIN”T PAYING ATTENTION ONE FUCKING BIT

  19. wheelie says at 9:52 am, June 3rd, 2008

    Michelle Obama was misquoted.
She just said, “Don’t trust the whitosphere.”

  20. DoctorCulturae says at 9:58 am, June 3rd, 2008

Evening prognostication: The Hilz will-she-won’t-she bow out anticipation is an attempt to zing the MSM and take the zip out of O’s St. Paul event. Of course she won’t bow out. I seem to recall both teh Huckabeez & Rudy 9u11iani did this as well. And the media have a split second short term memory anyway so they won’t remember or be prepared. If the Army of Bitters wouldn’t relent earlier, why would they now? But if the miraculous happens, my question is who finally got to them?

My pessimistic guess is, irony of ironies, that Hilz is Teddy 1980, she’ll ramp down the campaign, but cede nothing even after losing a vote on the floor of the convention. The story will be: will she come onstage with O for a photo op at the end? Grudgingly she’ll appear, the Bitters will foam at the mouth with mania, and the Dems will leave… in limbo.

  21. Darehead: “Gaiety is the most outstanding feature of the Soviet Union.”
    -Joseph Stalin Heh, sorry.

Anyway, I guess Hills is gonna quit without boffing me. Oh, well. Perhaps I should declare victory anyway and go home?

“I have thrust myself forward *ahem* and offered to take one on the ..uh.. chin for the party, and now that it’s no longer necessary, I quit. Amat victoria curam. (I’m sure that last bit translates to something about a sale on sexy underwear.)”

  22. nowukkers says at 10:37 am, June 3rd, 2008

ForTheTurnstiles: Don’t you mean Howard Olbermann Beale?

  23. masterdebater says at 10:47 am, June 3rd, 2008

Michelle, Michelle, Michelle, “lie” is such an ugly word! Besides, one may “shade the truth” in other media as well…why pick on “bloggers”? Now as for me, I NEVER lie….almost, ever…rarely…Well, I sometimes tell the truth! Jeeze, go make Barry a sammich or something, bitch!

  24. shortsshortsshorts says at 10:47 am, June 3rd, 2008

Russia is in a pickle and Pukin is doing the right thing. NGO’s have done nothing but fuck it up (so they are BANNED), the opposition party has artificially inflated their support (so they will be BANNED), and (some of) the oligarchs are losing their precious bags of $$$$$ (because they have been BANNED). GDP is on the rise. Long live Mother Russia!

  25. Johnetic says at 10:53 am, June 3rd, 2008

wheelie: Actaully, i think she said “Don’t trust Whitey Ford.”

  26. TrukNutz says at 11:09 am, June 3rd, 2008

$30 Mil in debt, Maker’s Mark’s too high class - they’re probably refilling Crown bottles with Governor’s Club.

  27. wonk_the_heck says at 11:29 am, June 3rd, 2008

i love the digital technology in Russia that can expunge Putin’s critics from telecasts (though sometimes leaving their legs). USA goes digital in February and I’m sure good old American know-how will solve the vestigial legs problem. Hillary would probably have been gone long ago except for only military software being able to effectively cloak a cankle.

  28. guerilla-nation says at 12:32 pm, June 3rd, 2008

if you think any superdelegate who switches to obama won’t end up in rockaway park (or wherever they dumped vice foster) with a bullet in their head , you don’t know hillary.

  29. Lionel Hutz Esq. says at 2:07 pm, June 3rd, 2008

Michelle Obama: “Don’t trust bloggers or someone else’s opinion, because people lie.”

    Added Michelle Obama, “Especially Whitey.”
