Bush Administration Immortalized By Fungi-Eating Insects
Hey, maybe there are some conservative professors after all. Or at least former professors. According to the Bulletin of the American Museum of Natural History, two such creatures have named three new species of slime-mold beetles after Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld. But "not because they look like the beetles" -- that was just a coincidence! The former profs did it "out of admiration for [Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld's] principles." It's not quite a commemorative statue in Iraq, but at least it's a start.— GREG BEATO
