What is it with the Starbucks in town?  I just read that Frum and Gerson wrote the “axis of evil” speech in a Starbucks.  There were the Pentagon papers left behind at some Starbucks near my office (the Conn & R location).  Josh Marshall apparently regularly blogs from a Starbucks. And, for what it’s worth, I’m writing this very post from a Starbucks on 11th between E and F. What explains this bizarre phenomenon? Well, there are a lot of fucking Starbucks in this town. It’s hard not to work in one. In fact, I’m not sure how I got here. I swear it was a Xandos when I walked in.
