The college apparently offered him full-time tenure, which is not something colleges do to people who only make up stories of having really taught there.

Unless, that is, they are the Pentagon giving $300 million to fake companies led by 22 year old domestic abusers and their masseur VP's to sell ancient, dangerous, illegal munitions to our allies in Afghanistan so they can die for this kid's cheap profit.

This is kind of like their press release today saying that he lied when he said that he didn't take $$ from oil companies. They took all of the donations from people who listed an oil company as their employer and considered that donations from oil companies.

I work at the University of Iowa and donated to him. That had nothing to do with my employment at the University.

They take his statements and apply the "definition of is is" logic.

Barack's professorship doesn't count because the University of Chicago is located near Hyde Park, which is notoriously full of black people; also, UofChicago has a tremendous number of foreign students, some of them Muslim. By contrast, Hillary taught at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, where red-blooded "real Americans" live.

Busted! Everyone knows there's a difference. Because when I was a graduate student, I always raised my hand and said, "excuse me, Senior Lecturer Smith" when I had a question.

Also, as long as the Clinton campaign really wants to bring this up, they should point out that Hillz EPIC FAILED the D.C. Bar Exam. Oops! (She passed in Arkansas, though.)

(btw, at my college, many of the most distinguished tenured professors who had taught generations of students were known as "Senior Lecturers", because they had stopped teaching a full course load and were semi-retired. And Barack was offered tenure, but turned it down to leave his political options open.)

Yeah, I love it that he was "only" a senior lecturer-type professor, along with other amateur hacks like Richard Posner.

He simply didn't have time to accept a full professorship, what with the praying five times a day and the building IEDs and such.

When Bill taught law at the University of Arkansas, he was known as Professor Luv. Seems fair enough.

Can we again bring up that business where the National Law Journal declared Hillary Clinton among the 'most influential lawyers in America', and she immediately started referring to this as 'best lawyers in America', and continued to do so after they repeatedly told her to stop?

Well, Michelle and Barack certainly fed off of that university trough. BTW, at my law school (UT), we avoided lecturers like the plague, as they cancelled half their classes to attend to other affairs, didn't keep office hours, and weren't prepared for the classes at which they did show up. But they still made us take a fucking 4 or 5 hour final, and graded the hell out of it. Basically, it was self-study without the pass/fail option.

When I was in grad school at UC Berkeley, I taught a class at the university's extension program as an "instructor." We were given a hilarious list of terms that we were forbidden to refer to ourselves as, which included "professor" and "member of the faculty."

Ironically, it actually paid better than being a TA for a real UCB class.

And why is she still in the race? She wants a second chance to enact Universal Health Care legislation, 'coz she kinda screwed the pooch on that one last time.

And, if she's the winner in November, she'll want a second chance to be leader on Day One, when that doesn't pan out to anyone's satisfaction.

And, after a lacklustre first term, she'll be back to beg for support in 2012, asking for a second chance to correct her first term.

Shit, even the Spice Girls - mothers of the omnipotent "grrl power" movement - got a second chance with their recent tour. His posing as a "professor" is like his posing as a hard working senator-when he failed to show up at subcommittee hearings but pushed his way to the microphone to take credit for bills he never worked on. Just ask Kennedy or Dodd or other senators, who actually wrote the bills. Still that doesn't seem to bother either of them or the Obamaphiles. That is just what we need for four years- an arrogant poser who talks alot and takes credit for other people's work. Wasn't eight years of Bush enough for you? So... basically, as soon as her so-workers realized that there was someone with a real chance to stick a fork in her, they started jumping on the Obama train.

Lots of workplaces have someone like Clinton -- the precious anointed one with connections in the right places, whose route to power will be paved with your kidneys, if need be. But when their clout and connections fail them, and they have to look around for real friends to save their career, they find nothing but cold shoulders. And then, because they are utterly incapable of conceiving of a world in which the reservation of all desired honors for them is given anything other than the name of purest justice, they shake their heads in disgust at the pinheaded Judases who betrayed them.

Well, his being a professor doesn't count anyway as it was at the University of Chicago which is in Illinois. Illinois was won by Barack Obama and therefore obviously doesn't count. Only states that have primaries, are "big", and have been won by Hillary Clinton are actual states.
