The pleasure I get on a daily basis from watching the ridiculously, unbelievably, poor running of this campaign has damn near brought me back from the dead. The only thing that got me back to the computer from my sickbed of the last few days was my anticipation of seeing reactions to this on wonkette, and also how hillary supporters could possibly spin this. I mean how is this possible anything other than Sinbad and youtube catching your candidate in a a lie. I mean damn.

Not fun like percocet (which actually, now that I've had to try it, I'd have to say is not 'fun'), but fun in a way that motivated me to get out of bed when the prospect of hundreds of unanswered emails did not.

Barry should point out to the press that Hillary undoubtedly felt very exposed and vulnerable. After all she had her young daughter with her in a war zone. So its not surprising that she remembers the situation as being more ominous than it probably was. And also that he's sure that Bill had a good reason for sending them into harms way and getting them out of the Whitehouse for a few weeks. He was a busy guy back then.

@Laura Ingalls Wildest: But that doesn't have the emailability of YouTube videos. The Hillary video I can see my Republican family members emailing me the video two or three times a week after the primaries, but not so much with that list.

OK, let's review what we've seen so far, boys and girls:

1.) Discredit the source. "He's a comedian."
2.) Deny the significance. "I took the kid's stuff, then dodged bullets."
3.) "Mistakes were made. All those 3 AM calls left me seleep-deprived."
4.) Deflect. "Enjoy this anti-Obama email Karl Rove sent me."

Is this straight from Bill's playbook, or was Bill using Hillary's for eight years? The GOP intertubes are orgasming over this already (don't think about that metaphor too much).

Oh, and kudos to the MSM for not bothering to look through their own film archives until some 40 year-old virgin dug through his VHS collection in his mother's basement to point this out.

Last night Dan Abrams kept saying that she misspoke, and when challenged, he'd ask how anyone could tell if it was deliberate. I wished that I could be there so I could explain to him that it isn't misspeaking when you repeatedly use a scripted lie that differs from your own personal written account.

I mean, other than the smiling troops, calm seventh graders, balloons, lemonade stand, cat adoption center and bake sale taking place on that tarmac, clearly it was a very dangerous situation.

It's a hilarious mistelling of a vaguely true story, but you know: there she is in Bosnia talking to troops and touring on behalf of her country and keeping America safe from Sinbad. It's not really such a horrible set of images if only she'd admit that the error.
