The guy who did the “Obey” stickers also did a bunch of Barack Obama posters, which you can see everywhere unless you are blind. And now Candidate Obama, because he is a nice fellow with good manners, has written a thank-you note to Shepard Fairey.
Experts predict that Fairey’s famous posters will put Obama over the top in design-conscious states like South Dakota, helping him to clinch the Democratic nomination and, eventually, the presidency. President Obama will appoint Mr. Fairey the Chief Resident Design Wizard, responsible for replacing the presidential seal with a stylish, 1920s constructivist logo featuring a Mexican wrestler.
