No, Matt just wants to keep the race going. Better for his pageviews and better for the right. Hell, each speech and debate (if there is another one) just gives more fire and time to the Republicans and more opportunities for the candidate to do something stupid.

Also, the longer Hillary and Obama go at it, the more they have to appeal to the left of the base, which McCain and crew can use for their advantage when appealing to more moderates.

IMHO anyway.
