Clinton Says Her People Didn't Make Plagiarism Charge Against Obama
In yet another sign of media bias against Hillary Clinton, The Media is refusing to take the blame for calling Barack Obama a slick-talking handsome word stealing wizard just a few days ago. After all, wasn't it the media that held a conference call with itself and showed itself some YouTubes of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick saying one thing Thomas Jefferson said and then Handsome Barry saying the same thing Jefferson said? And wasn't it the media that started hollering about how "When an author plagiarizes from another author there is damage done to two different parties. One is to the person he plagiarized from. The other is to the reader"? No? Blast these Internets! That was all Howard Wolfson, the Clinton campaign's communications director. But of course the media was the one foolish enough to go off and repeat everything some dumb communications director said.
More troubling is the Obama campaign's own sinister manipulation of a vulnerable and pliant Media. Senior adviser David Axelrod told MSNBC recently "Our buddy in the ugly sweater will show up on your show and try to make this and other things an issue."
This isn't the first time that Axelrod has taken pot shots at Howard Wolfson and the glamorous sweater he wore on the nights of both the New Hampshire primary and the Nevada caucuses ... which Clinton won,by the way. Explaining Clinton's Potomac primary losses, Axelrod said, "I looked at the exit polls, and did you know that in Maryland and Virginia, 17 percent of the people said they voted against Hillary Clinton because of Howard Wolfson's sweater ?"
When will Axelrod take responsibility for this incredibly damaging "ugly sweater" meme that has already torn through The Media like wildfire ?
