Eternally potential presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg sucks. This stooge, a multi-billionaire, says today, “They [The Washingtons] want to send out a check to everybody to stimulate the economy. I suppose it won’t hurt the economy but it’s in many senses like giving a drink to an alcoholic.” He is using this metaphor as a complaint?Look, Mr. Midget Energy Hawk Guy: you may not need a $300 check, but we do and precisely because it will buy us alcoholics many drinks at bars, for a week or so. You know what “giving a drink to an alcoholic” is called? Stability.
