Nothing says you’re a mean old lady who thinks you deserve to be president just because your philandering husband was president in a previous century like not congratulating your hopeful young opponent who wins eight straight races while you win nothing.
Last night in El Paso, Hillary Clinton rudely avoided (again) even the simple political politeness of saying congratulations to Barack Obama, who is basically sweeping the floor with her face (until whatever happens next, in Wisconsin). Hopeful Barry won big on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday — won everything, in fact — but Hillary neither conceded defeat during her Saturday and Tuesday night speeches nor congratulated her opponent. She’s like Dick Cheney in a pantsuit.
