David Plouffe of Team Obama sent out a memo today outlining expectations for tomorrow:
We fully expect Senator Clinton to earn more delegates on February 5th and also to win more states. If we were to be within 100 delegates on that day and win a number of states, we will have met our threshold for success and will be best positioned to win the nomination in the coming months.
Yup. If it’s below 100, he’ll be close enough to strike with Maryland, DC and Virginia’s primaries coming next Tuesday. Barack is 50% white and 50% black, so the two halves cancel each other out and make him 100% black. This is how he will win Maryland and DC. [Marc Ambinder]
