Cheesy, big-haired rocker Jon Bon Jovi is supposedly mulling a run for New Jersey Governor. According to Page Six, the Bon Jovi frontman has moved his family to SoHo in New York, but is keeping his Red bank, NJ to claim state residency should he choose to make a bid for governor of the Garden State.
Bon Jovi, an ardent supporter of area charities and reliable talent for Democrat fundriasiers, recently hired toothy flack Ken Sunshine, once chief of staff for former New York Mayor David Dinkins. Sunshine said his client has been approached about running, but denied that the he has any political plans.
However, a lame musician helming a lame state seems like a perfect match. To us, anyway.
