Florida Officials Frown on Hot Lesbian Prison Marriage
I'm sure it seemed like a good -- or at least sexy -- idea at the time, but eight Florida prison officers found out yesterday that, um, staging a lesbo marriage for two of the prisoners? Maybe not such a good idea!
We'll give them points for their Simple Chic™ flair for decorations, though:
According to an investigation report, the room was decorated with state paper towels and makeshift pink bows made from inmate request forms. Figures of two women sat atop a wedding cake surrounded by cards and endearments. Wearing a veil clipped to her hair and holding a bouquet of flowers, one of the women was escorted down a set of stairs to the ceremony while another inmate sang. An inmate officiated the ceremony which was described as "very elaborate." The couple was not allowed to kiss.
The record states that the guards were suspended and/or fired, for breaking prison rules and the Florida law against same-sex marriages, but I think we all know the real reason they were punished: for not letting the no-doubt red hot dykes kiss, an action which would have certainly touched off the hottest Florida lesbian prison fantasy EVER. Tsk.
