In response to confusion, anger, tears and questions over why we pay their salaries, the House Energy and Commerce Committee Republicans have confirmed that Friday’s cerebral press release on SCHIP, which used the Simpsons as an allegory, was not the result of a hack. “Hack” in computer (not literary) terms, of course.
