Spare a thought for John WALNUTS! McCain’s hard work today, as yet another two prominent staffers jump off the USS Straight Talk Express. Ed Failor and Karen Slifka, bigshot Iowa Republicans, have quit the doomed campaign. At this rate, McCain will be forced to drive his own stupid bus by the end of the week, except he won’t actually be driving it anywhere, because the gas tank’s empty.
