As the Post invites us to spend the week with Dick Cheney, the New York Times today presents its own lengthy investigation into the doings of a scary powerful old white guy: Rupert Murdoch.While Cheney prefers to seize control of our Democracy with lawyers, Murdoch simply uses his billions of dollars to buy it. The Times has learned, shockingly, that Murdoch is trying to buy every newspaper and television station in America, and buying lots and lots of politicians on the way.
