Dr. Laura's Cretin Son Having Fun Torturing People In Afghanistan
When the bombs finally start falling on Washington and every other city in the United States, here is one of the 300 million reasons:
The soldier son of talk radio relationship counselor Laura Schlessinger is under investigation for a graphic personal Web page that one Army official has called "repulsive." The MySpace page, publicly available until Friday when it disappeared from the Internet, included cartoon depictions of rape, murder, torture and child molestation; photographs of soldiers with guns in their mouths; a photograph of a bound and blindfolded detainee captioned "My Sweet Little Habib"; accounts of illicit drug use; and a blog entry headlined by a series of obscenities and racial epithets.
More precious freedoms, after the jump.
We're delighted to learn that the current crop of screaming idiots on talk radio are producing a more action-oriented spawn who are now bringing their special American Values(tm) directly to other countries. Yelling on the radio about killing all the A-rabs is one thing; actually raping and torturing and murdering "foreigners," in their own countries while directly employed by the American military, is surely the New Freedom.
Dr. Laura's psychotic 21-year-old son -- one of the U.S. Army's fresh new faces -- claimed on the MySpace page that his "job" was "running around this horrid place doing nasty things to people that deserve it . . . and some that don't."
The illustrations include one of a man forcing a child to suck his dick, at knifepoint and in front of the child's terrified mother. In another, "a top-hatted man laughs as he rapes a bound and bleeding woman in front of her family."
Dr. Laura has been curiously silent about her son's bravery.
Propaganda agents at the Pentagon offered a hilarious response: TERRISTS DONE IT.
Army spokesman Robert Tallman told the Salt Lake Tribune "it may be possible that our enemies are actually behind this."
The MySpace page was also covered in photographs of Dr. Laura's boy and his Army buddies, a dozen of whom linked back to his page on their own MySpace pages, where there were also pictures of Dr. Laura's charming boy, in uniform, in Afghanistan.
"Our enemies are adaptive, technologically sophisticated, and truly understand the importance of the information battlespace," said Army spokesman Tallman, apparently without laughing.
Schlessinger's superiors in Afghanistan apparently are slightly more aware of reality. A base e-mail from public affairs said officers were trying to figure out "how the site is being administered and if we can shut it down."
The 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan shuttered the pages on Friday. The Pentagon managed to immediately cleanse all evidence of the MySpace pages, including whatever copies and cached versions were kept by Google and the Internet Archive.
