Amazingly, the ruins continue to be “governed” by a small band of loyalists who occasionally meet to discuss pressing issues: Is there food somewhere around? How about water?Also, on Wednesday they voted to impeach George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the despotic kings of faraway “Washy Town,” as it’s known by local nomads. The locals plan to carve a pictograph representation of their vote and send it downriver.
