Early voting in the Philippine province Maguindanao indicate illegal government interference in the electoral process, according to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, or MILF.

The MILF alleged Sunday that a high-ranking government official had promised to pay P3 million to each municipality in Maguindanao that could ensure a 12-0 victory for Team Unity in the province.

Each municipality in Magunidanao which can deliver 12-0 for administration senatorial candidates are promised P3 million by a high government official,” the MILF said.

The government is looking into the matter, according to Comelec Commissioner Rene Bukkake.
