Iraqi Justice!

New York Times:

Munir Haddad, one of the judges on the appeals court that upheld Saddam’s death sentence, told The A.P: “Saddam will be executed today or tomorrow. All the measures have been done.”

Reuters:

Iraq’s Justice Ministry, which must carry out the execution, denied it had taken custody of Saddam from his U.S. military jailers and said it could not legally hang him for a month.

Still time for a Phillip Seymour Hoffman-in-Mission Impossible 3 escape!

Anyway, we all know it’ll actually go down New Years Eve as the ball drops.
