Pelosi's 100-Hour Reich Already In Ruins
Remember that whole "first 100 hours" business where the victorious Democrats would immediately raise the minimum wage, do some ethics stuff and, most critically, enact every recommendation of the 9/11 Commission?
Well, they're not going to do that last part, the 9/11 part. A major recommendation of the Commission was reorganizing congressional control of intelligence-agency funding and policy -- to make it harder for the various agencies to hide all their advance knowledge of the September 11 attacks.
Seems noble enough, but it's really too much trouble. Plus, the Democrats already won and you can't do anything about it for another two years. Ha ha, suckers!
