Clever Bureaucrats End Hunger!

by Ken Layne  5:23 pm November 16, 2006

and there won't be snow in africa this christmas ... - WonketteFor the last glorious five years, the percentage of hungry Americans has been steadily on the rise: 12% of this country’s population went without food at some point in the previous year, according to the USDA. That’s 36 million people, or the same number of people who live in California, the most populous state.

Because the big-government liberals in the Bush Administration refuse to solve the starvation problem the obvious way — a constitutional amendment legalizing cannibalism — they came up with a simpler idea: Quit using the word “hunger.” The 36 million Americans who go hungry are now only suffering from “very low food security.”
