Today’s guilty-as-sin congressman is Ohio Republican Bob Ney! Welcome to the rapidly growing club, Bob.Ney pled guilty (in writing) to the usual crimes of conspiracy, bribery and lies — part of the nearly forgotten (yet ongoing) Jack Abramoff crime spree. The feds say they want him in prison for 27 months, which sure seems soft to us … but we’re old-fashioned conservatives who prefer the guillotine.
