WEBB RACE SCANDAL: SOME WHITES ARE POOR, SENATE HOPEFUL CLAIMS

RedState, presumably receiving tips from the same friendly guys who sent us Webb’s kid’s MySpace page, finds this backpage blurb from James Webb:

Politicians and judges over the past forty years have created the mythology that white America is a monolith whose history is based on social and economic privilege, while anyone who is not white is by definition disadvantaged. No one knows this better than William Perry Pendley and a few have done more to put an end to this outrage.

Pretty damning stuff… for an author of “historical scholarship” about Scotch-Irish immigrants. Which Webb is, per those partisan firebrands at Hotline.

So the guy’s soft on immigration too. It’s a wash, really.

Hotline reports a much better possible scandal: A Virginia push-poll asking voters what their response would be to the news that Mr. Webb had referred to a woman (women?) as “thunder thighs.”
