It's been fun serving as half of your Wonkette team this week, but I've managed to escape from the Gawker Media sweatshop and now I'mfree!I've learned a lot over four of the last five days (I took Tuesday off, because really, what happens onTuesday? ): a lot about America, about the blogging business, but most of all, aboutmyself. And I've grown to love each and every one of you, the ones who write in nice things, and the ones who send in 4,500-word conspiracy theories in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, and the ones who just sit there at their computers and read in silence. I'll be back every week with Cartoon Violence , and of course will keep churning out the brilliance at my own blog . And who knows, maybe I'll be back here to guest-blog somewhere down the road if Wonkette needs help in the future. At the rate they're going, that will probably be in about three weeks. Ta!
