Up to this point, we’ve been enthusiastic supporters of Rep. Jack Kingston’s forays into the world of new media — his homemade videos on YouTube, his interns’ liveblogging during the Rayburn gunfire scare, etc.
But we can’t say we’re fans of his latest initiative, which has been generating snickers from other Members (hehe) and their staffers:
Don’t get the joke? It’s okay, we didn’t at first either. But just say it out loud: “Jack’s Mail Tube.”
Oy. If Arizona residents can get so upset over the Pink Taco restaurant, we think it’s only a matter of time before Georgia constituents fill Kingston’s “Mail Tube” with requests to rename his urethra of constituent correspondence.
