Congressional Catfight: Harris Defeats Frank (Finally)

by dlat

katherine%20harris%20barney%20frank.JPGAfter some voting irregularities in our Congressional Catfight between Katherine Harris and Barney Frank, we decided to hold a rematch. We put two polls before you, indicating that the competitor with the highest combined vote total for both polls would move into the final round.

In the first poll, we asked you to compare the candidates’ fashion sensibilities. It was a close race, but Katy H. prevailed by a narrow margin:

In the second poll, we asked you who flirts more shamelessly with young men. You voted — and this time, the margin was decisive:

For those of you who aren’t mathematically inclined — actually, neither are we, we used a calculator for this — Harris ended up with a total of 2,399 votes for both polls, compared to Frank’s combined total of 1,961 votes. Harris had 55 percent of the total vote, compared to 45 percent for Frank.

Thank God: no confused old people, no hanging chads, no trip up to the Supreme Court. Harris has defeated Frank by a comfortable, litigation-proof margin. She now moves into the Congressional Catfight final, where she’ll confront Nancy Pelosi.

Thanks to all of you for voting. And please check back soon, to vote in Congressional Catfight: Harris vs. Pelosi!
