This morning we informed you of a guaranteed way to get fired from your job as a radio talk show host in your first two weeks: refer to Condoleezza Rice as a “coon.”
Now, a brief postscript: the radio host in question, Dave Lenihan, must also be faulted for his poor taste in racial slurs. “Coon” — what a cliched, obvious pick!
The third word in the title of this blog, while still highly offensive, would have been more original. If you’re going to use a racial slur, at least select an interesting one.
