Due to an editing error, a post yesterday incorrectly attributed a quote to Representative Vernon Ehlers (R-MI). According to his Press Secretary:

As the son of a minister and a long-time professor as a Christian college, I cannot imagine Mr. Ehlers ever uttering the word in question. I respectfully request that you consider removing or amending the entry in the name of good taste and fairness.

Rep. Ehlers did not call members of the United States Senate “Fucking Jocks.” That was Rep. Stephen F. Lynch (D-MA). We regret the error, and hope we have not caused undue distress to the honorable Mr. Ehlers, who, in addition to be being one of the fairest members of Congress, is also one of the reddest.
