He had this to say in an earlier interview about his intended service, specifically about the possibility he could find himself fighting in Iraq after being commissioned in April:
There’s no way I’m going to put myself through Sandhurst [an elite British military college] and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country.
I wonder how that translates here across the pond.
