Thanks bunches to all the Wonketteers who forwarded the URL to the story about George Bush losing his mind. We thought it was funny, too, though clearly fictional:

In interviews with a number of White House staffers who were willing to talk off the record, a picture of an administration under siege has emerged, led by a man who declares his decisions to be “God’s will” . . . Aides say the President gets “hung up on minor details,” micromanaging to the extreme while ignoring the bigger picture. . . West Wing staffers call Bush and Ashcroft “the Blues Brothers” because “they’re on a mission from God.”

Come on: George Bush, being obsessed with details!?!Oh, we kid. We’re sure President Bush is a masterful planner who is aware of every nuance in foreign and domestic policy. The real reason we know it’s not true is because George Bush is not “on a mission from God;” he is Satan’s handmaiden.
