Did the weekend even just happen? Isn’t Monday the time when Donald Trump likes to debut the NEXT fake grievance he’s going to use to hold the American people hostage and distract them from his malignant, failing presidency? Apparently he’s still obsessed with last week’s fake grievance, because Myeshia Johnson, the surviving wife of fallen Army Sgt. La David Johnson, broke her silence on “Good Morning America” about the phone call she received from the president the day his body was flown back to America, and oh man, she is being so unfair and disrespectful, by saying his words on the phone call hurt her feelings. Is it even legal for her to say that about our American dictator? It’s just like that time Trump went to a Republican primary debate and Megyn Kelly pulled out her wherevers and bled all over him on live TV!
Let’s get Trump’s Twitter version of the events out of the way, so we can get back to focusing on reality ASAP:
Sure, you betcha. Donald Trump said Sgt. Johnson’s name SO MANY TIMES, just like he ALWAYS refers to Myeshia Johnson by her name, instead of just calling her “the widow.” It’s probably because he cares so much.
Except actually that’s bullshit. According to Johnson on “Good Morning America,” the most upsetting part of the phone call was that Trump not only didn’t say her husband’s name, he actually “stumbled” trying to remember it:
“[Pres. Trump] couldn’t remember my husband’s name. … That’s what hurt me the most.” – Myeshia Johnson, widow of Sgt. La David Johnson pic.twitter.com/px5io2RbJB
— Good Morning America (@GMA) October 23, 2017
He couldn’t remember my husband’s name. The only way he remembered my husband’s name is because he told me he had my husband’s report in front of him. And that’s when he actually said “La David.” I heard him stumbling on trying to remember my husband’s name. And that’s what hurt me the most because if my husband is out here fighting for our country, and he risks his life for our country, why can’t you remember his name? And that’s what made me upset and cry even more.
Johnson also said she was hurt by Trump’s tone when he said he “knew what he signed up for, but it hurts anyway.” Why was “the widow” being so unfair to Trump on “Good Morning America” by saying how Trump’s words made her feel? Does she not know she’s talking about the nominal author of The Art Of The Deal?
Last week, when General John Kelly decided to fall on Donald Trump’s sword and fuck himself with it, he actually confirmed the account of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, whose recollection of the call sounds exactly like Myeshia Johnson’s. The four-star general is apparently just appalled at Wilson for telling the truth and in the process making Dear Leader look bad. Remember also that Sgt. Johnson’s mother, Cowanda Jones-Johnson, also corroborated the account. It’s like LITERALLY EVERYBODY who heard the call agrees on what happened, even if Generalissimo Kelly is feeling a patriotic duty to be full of shit right now.
“Why would we fabricate something like that?” she said.
Probably being paid by Rosie O’Donnell.
You should take time to watch the entire interview with Myeshia Johnson, as she talks about who her husband was, and the questions she has about what the hell actually happened in Niger, the ones the government still won’t answer. “Why [did it take] 48 hours to find my husband? Why couldn’t I see my husband?”

At the end of the interview, George Snuffleupagus asked Johnson if she had any words for the president, and this was her response:
“I don’t have nothin’ to say to him.”
Perhaps America should follow Myeshia Johnson’s lead.
